Asunto: CRÍTICO - Collective bloqueado "Nicht berechtigt" - Semanas sin solución Hola equipo de Shopify Collective, Escribo directamente porque llevo SEMANAS con Collective bloqueado. PROBLEMA: Apps > Collective > Einstellungen muestra: - Status: "Nicht berechtigt" (No autorizado) - "6 von 7 abgeschlossen" - NO indica cuál es el 7º requisito LO QUE TENGO COMPLETADO: Shopify Payments activo y verificado Cuenta bancaria conectada (OLDENBURGISCHE LANDESBANK) Registro fiscal verificado ID verificada Dirección en país soportado (Alemania) Moneda soportada (EUR) Plan Shopify activo (Basic) HISTORIAL DE SOPORTE: - 21 enero: Jordan prometió solución en 48h - 22 enero: Jourdan escaló a equipo técnico sin plazo - Resultado: SEMANAS bloqueado, CERO soluciones NECESITO: 1. Diese App ist ein Opfer. Lieber finger weg von dieser App. Diese App ist überhaupt nicht empfehlenswert. Besonders Rückerstattungen sind am schlimmsten. Shopify Payments mit dieser App bucht Gebühr, wenn Kunde kauft und als Auszahlungsgebühr und wenn Rückerstattung kommt, dann bucht wieder Gebühr Rückerstattungsgebühr. Das ist schlimmste App und shopify Experten wissen selber nicht, wie soll man mit Rückerstattungen klar kommen und Kunden warten auf Rückerstattungen und Shopify Payments behält das Geld und legt in Bearbeitung und wenn Kudnen Ruckbuchung einschalten dann noch mal 15€ extra Gebühr bezahlen. Ich habe das alles selbst erlebt. Ich habe 2 Bestellungen aus Spanien storniert und sofort rückerstattet an kunden aber Shopify hat das nicht gemacht und zuerst von meinem Bankkonto rückerstattung mit Geühr wiedergebucht und auch von Lieferant gebucht und danch hat micht gezwungen dass ich noch mals rückerstatten obwohl die kunden bereits Geld bekommen haben und Shopify Experten haben keine Ahnung und verstehen auch nicht und können auch nicht klar kommen mit Rückerstattungen und man bekommt nur das Bescheid dass es in der Bearbeitung ist. Man verliert Kunden Vertauen und verliert Kunden aber für Shopify ist egal, deswegen habe ich Shopify Payments und Shopify Collectiv Apps beide deninstalliert und ich empfehle niemand Shopify Payments und auch Shopify Collectiv app zu benutzen. Das ist nur Opfer.

You will LOOSE money if you use this app in the United Kingdom! Shopify calculates the discount from the VAT-inclusive price, and then ADDS an extra 20% VAT when you are billed. Someone please explain to Shopify that in the UK, we use VAT-INCLUSIVE PRICING.

A nightmare with suppliers and VAT collection. Cue bills where Collective sells items for less than it costs you.

Hello there! I'm sorry to hear that your experience with Collective wasn't ideal. However, please note that we do not share customer email with suppliers as the retailer owns the customer relationship within a Collective transaction. To share shipping information with customer, you can simply upload tracking information to the order from your admin, which will then be passed onto the retailer and the customer.

UPDATE after 20 sales: Shopify Collective is gravely flawed for UK and European retailers, giving misleading margins that ultimately result in losses. The app defaults to treating supplier prices as excluding VAT even when those prices already include VAT. This was confirmed by a Shopify Support Advisor after I provided an example of a supplier product priced at £115 with a supposed 10% margin (£11.50 profit) - the price is clearly VAT-inclusive on the supplier’s website, yet Collective treats it as tax-exclusive: “The most important point is that Shopify Collective treats all B2B prices from suppliers as tax-exclusive, regardless of how the supplier lists prices on their own website. So, just as you calculated, when Collective imports the product at £115 (listed as excl. tax), it calculates your cost first (which is £115 minus your 10% margin, so £103.50). Then, it adds the 20% B2B VAT on top of that cost. This results in the £124.20 total cost to you, which, as you correctly identified, can lead to a loss if you sell the item at the £115 price.” I honestly do not know how this is even legal. Like many retailers, we offer a 10% newsletter-signup discount. All our chosen suppliers offer margins of 20% and above, so we assumed we were safe. In reality, we made a loss on every sale with a supposed margin below 28%, and even above that threshold the profit was marginal. To give a real-world example of a “positive” case: A £479.99 VAT-inclusive item from a supplier offering a 30% margin. Collective displayed: Retail £479.99 excl. tax (although the price already includes VAT), Cost £335.99 excl. tax, Profit £144.00. The customer used a 10% discount and paid £432. Shopify Payments fees were £13.64, giving us a payout of £418.36. However, Shopify Collective charged us £335.99 (their margin-calculated cost) plus 20% VAT (£67.20), debiting £403.19 to pay the supplier — leaving us with a profit of just £15.17 on a £432 order. Other sellers have reported the same issue, for example here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/490734433258832/posts/974975578168046/ Shopify Collective could be a great tool, and perhaps it works as intended in the US. But in the UK, where retail prices are VAT-inclusive, the current model is essentially unworkable — and borders on being a scam. --- INITIAL 3-star review: Interesting so far and I look forward to seeing results. I would like to see a few improvements (if anyone from Shopify is reading...): - The "excl. tax" is confusing as looking on the supplier website the same price is advertised to the public, including taxes. - It would be very useful to be able to sort products by Inventory during import (that's particularly important with large inventories). - Sorting by Retail price or Profit would be great too. - For suppliers with multiple margins, would be very useful to filter out products with margins below X amount. - The Recommendations on the Discovery page should exclude my existing Suppliers - also, would be good to be able to filter these by ratings

Everything was fine for 2 years, then I got an email saying I am no longer eligible. Support cannot help me; seems they do not know how to even work Shopify Collective. It says I am no longer eligible because I need an active Shopify plan, yet my store has been active for 7 almost 8 years! This program needs improvement as well as the support staff that don't know how to help you so they just forward you around.

Even after multiple requests and chats, payouts have not been reactivated. As a result, our store remains ineligible for Collective. Very disappointing.

Some of the vendors here only offer 5% profit yet retail price is supposed to be 3xs higher than wholesale or dropshipping. We have just started using this app and already dissatisfied with some vendors here. This is absurd. We have to get more profit as retailers. Some of the vendors are retailers too on their website but are doing dropshipping and wholesale. This is unacceptable in business. Retail profit can't be less than dropshipping or wholesale profit.

Some of the suppliers are great, however the ones that aren't can ruin your business! Beware! I sold two products from a shop on here and they shipped the WRONG product to the customer! I couldn't get through to anyone on email or phone and they never accepted the return so I am having to process it. I actually LOST money on this app. horrible. Shopify is NO help! I tried to contact them and there is only a bot that answers. Customer support is nonexistent unless you are a huge shop on Shopify Plus. Shame on Shopify for not helping retailers protect their store's reputation from horrible suppliers like this one!

I loved Collective at first and encouraged my vendors to get on board so I could sell their products through the app. They did! I hired a team to inactivate the same products I was selling to use the collective app and recreated PDPs with collective. I sold through the app for 6-7 months ONLY TO WAKE UP ONE MORNING to see hundreds of products being DEACTIVATED with NO WARNING and NO solution. I have a generic note that says my store is not eligible and doesnt comply with collective. WHAT???? Even shopify cant help. I have a great business and i dont even know what policy i am not complying with. This is a disaster and I DO NOT RECOMMEND FOR ANY BUSINESSES.

Pointless without a browse function so you can find retailers to partner with. Why on earth did shopify think this was a viable idea? Half a solution!
