Constant Contact: Email & SMS
Constant Contact, the Shopify App, has received mixed reviews from users. Constant Contact App overwrites my customer last name field with strings of numbers every time it syncs. This makes it very difficult to look up customers during checkout. I have reached out to support but they haven't gotten back to me. I need this bug fixed.
You literally cannot speak to any humans whatsoever making it extremely frustrating especially when the issue is on THEIR end. Customer service unfortunately has gone out the window with big tech companies. You just pay and pay and pay and they make it more difficult to ever get assistance. Sad.

I switched to Constant Contact because I needed one specific feature that my previous platform didn't offer (specifically, I needed to allow clients to sign up for multiple email lists). I'm keeping it specifically for that feature. But this has been an absolutely MISERABLE experience from the start. Simply getting the signup form onto my homepage was a huge chore, their support was useless (that would be Tier 2 support as well), and I still haven't been able to get the form onto more than one page of my website. Also, I haven't sent a single email since switching that wasn't subject to some system-wide technical glitch (ie won't edit, won't save edits, won't send). Also, the most basic elements (such as scheduling emails) are not supported at the basic level. Garbage. I am on the hunt for something else, but it is likewise an ordeal constantly switching platforms. Save yourself a headache.
