This is perfect for adding, maintaining and customizing additional data for the numerous Shopify elements. Support is quick and has always been helpful.

As a freelance designer I installed Custom Fields to extend the product listings in my clients website. The app does exactly what I need – it has been brilliant with the ability to add html fields through to iFrames and many more. Plus the support is excellent. Couldn’t be happier. Give it a try, you won't regret it.

I can't say enough good things about this app. The ability to add custom fields that display on each product (using the chrome extension) is something you can't live without. The help page is probably the best and most complete support pages I've seen in an app. I haven't had to reach out to the developer at all. There are so many features in this app, I haven't had a chance to explore them all. Extremely friendly interface for those of us that are less-experienced with coding.

The Custom Fields app solved a challenge I faced with my store, Showing estimated shipping time windows, however having explored the app for 24 hours I can attest it is powerful far beyond this. If I were to make another store on Shopify, I would install this app on day one, as it truly expands the possibilities for how the blueprint of your page and all your data is set up. I think this app would actually supersede many other apps if you wish to simplify your shopify and reduce apps. We are extremely pleased with the product and the support.

Absolutely critical app for anyone who needs more than a simple product description. It extends Shopify in so many ways to fill so many functionality gaps it's indispensable. I have to admit I really don't like the new sidebar UI when editing products, you have to ensure your mouse is hovered over the fields when editing content and it's very frustrating when it closes so quickly if you nudge your mouse. Was significantly more usable and easy to scan what content was needed when your custom fields were appended to the bottom of your pages instead. Apart from that, the app itself is excellent. -- Updated to reflect answer about pinned mode - thanks for that, didn't know about it and totally appreciate it must be a moving target with Shopify code so once again, it's an incredible app and one I'm unable to live without and happy to pay for :)
Sorry to hear you're disappointed with the Chrome Extension! To solve your problem with hovering, we recommend using "pinned mode" in the extension. Open the extension as usual, then click on Settings and select "Pinned Mode". This will keep the extension open and only close it when you click to close it. We would have kept the plugin with the output on the bottom of the page, but Shopify continuously changes the HTML on the forms. Without any reliable place to inject our plugin, it was breaking regularly. We explored every conceivable location and method and determined that we had to change it to an overlay and the upper left corner with a "drawer" was the only place that would not get in the way for users. It wasn't a change we wanted to make, but this was our only option. Please do reach out to the team if we can assist you now or in the future. :)

This app is a game changer. It's such a miss on Shopify's part that they don't support custom fields. So, John C and his team at Bonify have written an amazing app that lets store builders create all the custom fields they need. Thank you so much!! David

Works great for us. The ability to discover pre-existing meta fields in your shop was extremely helpful for us.

The app has worked great for us to add additional information to our listings on Shopify. Shopify is great but they give you limited fields for importing important information to listings. Custom Fields saves us SO much time.

Great app! It was able to take my existing metafields (created with an app that became non-functioning) and use them to build identical metafields with identical formats for new products I was adding to my website. The "before" products and "after" products appear identical. Customer service was very responsive and quickly helped me get on track with the conversion process. Thank you!

Absolutely BRILLIANT! It has saved me days and days of manual work. Highly recommend, although I did need help to set it up for me. LOVE it!
