The Custom Fields app solved a challenge I faced with my store, Showing estimated shipping time windows, however having explored the app for 24 hours I can attest it is powerful far beyond this. If I were to make another store on Shopify, I would install this app on day one, as it truly expands the possibilities for how the blueprint of your page and all your data is set up. I think this app would actually supersede many other apps if you wish to simplify your shopify and reduce apps. We are extremely pleased with the product and the support.

I recommend this app. We use it to add custom fields and dynamic content to our store. With this app we added delivery times, related products, shortened product names in breadcrumbs, added SEO descriptions to collections and blog, to blogposts we added recommendation widgets. Heck, we even send custom data to Google with using the custom fields created with this app.

We needed an app that would allow us to not only create custom fields but we needed them to be conditional. This app is exactly what we needed! When it came to questions we had for further needs, we reached out to them for an answer and they got back to us right away and recommended several means to get the job done we were looking for. We are very impressed and so happy we found this app! We highly recommend this app for anyone looking for custom fields! You won't be disappointed...and if you need help, this developer actually responds!

Absolutely critical app for anyone who needs more than a simple product description. It extends Shopify in so many ways to fill so many functionality gaps it's indispensable. I have to admit I really don't like the new sidebar UI when editing products, you have to ensure your mouse is hovered over the fields when editing content and it's very frustrating when it closes so quickly if you nudge your mouse. Was significantly more usable and easy to scan what content was needed when your custom fields were appended to the bottom of your pages instead. Apart from that, the app itself is excellent. -- Updated to reflect answer about pinned mode - thanks for that, didn't know about it and totally appreciate it must be a moving target with Shopify code so once again, it's an incredible app and one I'm unable to live without and happy to pay for :)
Sorry to hear you're disappointed with the Chrome Extension! To solve your problem with hovering, we recommend using "pinned mode" in the extension. Open the extension as usual, then click on Settings and select "Pinned Mode". This will keep the extension open and only close it when you click to close it. We would have kept the plugin with the output on the bottom of the page, but Shopify continuously changes the HTML on the forms. Without any reliable place to inject our plugin, it was breaking regularly. We explored every conceivable location and method and determined that we had to change it to an overlay and the upper left corner with a "drawer" was the only place that would not get in the way for users. It wasn't a change we wanted to make, but this was our only option. Please do reach out to the team if we can assist you now or in the future. :)

This app is a game changer. It's such a miss on Shopify's part that they don't support custom fields. So, John C and his team at Bonify have written an amazing app that lets store builders create all the custom fields they need. Thank you so much!! David

Works great for us. The ability to discover pre-existing meta fields in your shop was extremely helpful for us.

The app has worked great for us to add additional information to our listings on Shopify. Shopify is great but they give you limited fields for importing important information to listings. Custom Fields saves us SO much time.

Great app! It was able to take my existing metafields (created with an app that became non-functioning) and use them to build identical metafields with identical formats for new products I was adding to my website. The "before" products and "after" products appear identical. Customer service was very responsive and quickly helped me get on track with the conversion process. Thank you!

Hands down the best app for adding custom fields for any type of data. The support is fantastic and they have another app called Mr. Arigato for automation. Don't hesitate, if you need custom fields for any reason, give them the first chance. I have worked with many apps over the years and they have all the features with the support needed to get the most out of it.

Dang!!! Powerful stuff .Although I've only used it for a several days I think it's fantastic. Hope to really make use of it with our store design being able to store & display more information . I have not contacted customer service yet(had no issues) so i can't comment on their level of service.

Absolutely an AMAZING app!!! I wish I had this app years ago when setting up my store. Since extra fields are virtually non-existent in Shopify, Custom Fields app is a lifesaver as well as a time saver. The possibilities are endless and support is very timely and helpful. If you are creating your store, GET THIS APP FIRST!! If you already have a Shopify store, GET THIS APP NOW!!!! :)

Very powerful app. I've tried many other metafield apps but this app totally outperform the others. There are couple of features that I couldn't believe it has. Their customer support people are very quick at responding to my tickets. Usually I'd prefer Live Chat support, but their responsiveness kind of compensates for that. Don't take my word for it, take advantage of their 14-day trial, I highly recommend it.
