The app didn't work well for us because we have too many variances which didn't leave enough room for the wholesale pricing variances. However, it has great potential. The customer service was outstanding.

The Customer Pricing app has been great, we have different types of customers and it is nice to be able to direct them all to one website. The customer service and willingness to help out is fantastic as well, thank you!

Overall this product does exactly what I needed to do which is setup custom pricing for groups and individuals. Simply create a tag, define the pricing for the tag and tag the Shopify customer account with the appropriate tag or multiple tags. Support has always been quick to respond and very helpful. 4 stars are awarded instead of 5 due to the app being somewhat confusing at times albeit very powerful. Bold Apps as a whole is great. We are using several Bold Apps in our shopify store and are very happy with them.

4 1/2 stars if we could. We love this app, it allows us a level of customization that is extremely valuable. There are only 2 reasons it isn't 5 stars; 1) No 24 hr support. 2) The process of having to pause the app, make changes and then resume it is a bit of a hassle.The more pricing levels and inventory you have the longer it takes to update.

I have to say that even though I ultimately could not afford the cost due to all the other necessary apps I had to install on my website, the support team via email were fantastic. They are quite an intelligent crew but I have to say the only thing that saved me from pulling my hair out when it came to set up were their You Tube videos. They did a great job by giving you instructions step by step. I would have given them a 5 star, but as I said, I just could not afford the monthly due to budget constraints.

I am very happy with this app. It solves a problem that I desperately needed solved, pricing levels for my customers. The install was completed on time as advertised (yes I paid for installation).

Responsive customer support, does exactly what I need. I use it as a convenient way to create hidden products for wholesale customers (cartons, cases, etc.) and assign custom pricing groups to customers. It seems like Shopify isn't setup perfectly on the back-end for hidden products, so there are a few minor issues: 1: I had them install it (an extra $40, IIRC). Usually I do it myself, but this one looked hard 2: If your website allows users to search by tag, some of the tags (particularly the HIDE tags) can show up in that list. AFAIK you can't fix this yourself, but the Bold Apps customer support can. 3: If you hide a lot of products it can create blank pages when browsing products. This is only an issue if you hide a lot of products, though. You can organize this by creating different collections, but it will always be a problem when browsing all products. Can create navigation issues for customers who are interested in your hidden products (such as wholesale customers who are buying cartons that you don't want shown to web retail customers). Overall I like it, and it does everything I need. Not perfect, but definitely gets the job done.

Great App, One major issue though, people can combine customer pricing rate and discount codes. Typically I run 20% coupon code via pop up windows when you land on the website or via remarketing. An existing customer can combinea reduce pricing let's say 20% + a 20% discount code...Which makes the app not really usable with my pricing strategy. Half the blame on shopify that is very limited with Discount code options. Hope you guys can do something about it because this is really hurting the concept of your app... Having few apps from you and knowing how you frequently add features on your product I'm hoping you can find a solution to that problem...

Great app! Not a 5 star rating yet as some features could be added. Like differentiating the shipping costs for normal customers and wholesale customers (we offer free shipping to normal customers at 20 EUR... not for wholesalers!). Otherwise easy and nice help desk.

I'd give it 4.5 stars overall. Not being a LIQUID-pro coder, it actually did cost me quite a bit of time to set everything up. In hindsight, I should have taken the one-time setup-fee option. I did manage to crash the app when I tried entering decimal numbers in the discount fields (detailed pricing) - and I am a little sad that the system does not support decimal discounts (it would really help us). Overall, the system is awesome though. We actually use it for different levels of Memberships (Big Bruddha, Gold Brick and MULTIPASS), that work as discounts on the same items. We then show items which otherwise would be invisible to non-members. The three levels allow us to give different discounts on the hidden as well as the standard items. I'd love a -SHOW option (which is the opposite of the -HIDE option) to reduce the amount of tags we need to set, but really that's mostly cosmetic. You really have to think about how to use the system, but it offers a lot of options. What I did not like is the update speed on items. Setting up 20-25 items took about 2 hours (!) to update. Not sure if that had to do with the crash I had or whether that's normal, but that kind of caused the -0.5 points out of 5 stars. I would still strongly, no, BOLDLY recommend this app.

This app works well once you understand clearly how customer tags function. If your applying the CSP groups to your whole customer list then its very easy to do right inside the app. If you want to assign CSP's to specific customer groups, a little bit of pre-tagging in your customer list is needed, but its easy to do via import/export customer lists in Shopify. I had some difficulty in the beginning because I was not using the tags properly, but the BOLD apps support crew helped me sort it out and get it up and running right. A feature suggestion I have is if BOLD could add a tag filter rule for "time", whereas the money spent rules would apply for a specific term such as a "year"; this way I could require my membership group to meet the spending requirements on an annual basis to maintain the preferred discount level. Very good app!
