496% COST INCREASE 496% COST INCREASE - AVOID AT ALL COSTS I have been a customer of Doofinder since 2021. When I signed up, we agreed a €25 per month price for the lifetime of the contract. Without consultation, they increased the price to €149 per month — a 496% increase. My usage would actually qualify for their €49 plan, yet they still placed me on the €149 subscription. When I challenged the increase, Doofinder responded by saying they could no longer meet my expectations, even though my expectations have not changed since the beginning. Early customers supported this company but it now seems like greed has replaced loyalty. I also submitted a GDPR data request, which they have failed to comply with. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company in any way.

Nonexistent Customer Support Extremely disappointing experience with Doofinder. The app itself might have potential, but it is completely overshadowed by what can only be described as nonexistent customer support. After installation, I encountered several technical issues and reached out multiple times. Responses were slow, generic, and ultimately unhelpful. There was no real ownership of the problem, no meaningful follow-up, and absolutely no sense of urgency — even when the issues were directly impacting sales. For a paid app on Shopify, where search functionality is critical to revenue, this level of support is simply unacceptable. You expect a reliable technology partner, not silence when it matters most. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend it. When you need support, there’s no one there.

I also see that our commercial representative who was your first point of contact and is fully trained to assist with onboarding and setup proactively offered support early on, but that assistance was declined at the time. Our intention from the beginning was to make sure you had guidance whenever needed. Once your request reached our technical team, your concerns were escalated internally for deeper review. We are currently waiting for your response to continue moving forward and resolve the matter as quickly as possible. We are a team of people who genuinely care about our customers and work every day to provide reliable support and meaningful solutions. I’m sorry we fell short of your expectations, and I would sincerely welcome the opportunity to turn this experience around so you can continue benefiting from Doofinder. Tengo la versión de 59.99 usd y la verdad aunque si esta un poco costosa es jodidamente super buena, llevo como unos 4 meses con ella y no me arrepiento simplemente es muy buena para lo que ofrece: -Soporte god muy amables y te ayudan en todo -Buen diseño de buscado -Puedes agregar diseños en tu buscaod -Metricas de como lo busca la gente y que sale a la hora de buscar -CTR de las cosas que busca la gente Realmente es muy buena APP 100% vale la pena

Intuitive, fast and by far the best search tool for large catalogues, we have been using Doofinder for over a year now, recently we had a theme upgrade and it caused some issues with loading, there customer service is second to none and the issue was addressed and solved so quickly, thanks to Tau, Victor and the team.

We tried this app, but unfortunately, we had some issues especially for the mobile devices the search widget would load after a 1-2 seconds delay. And if your store experiences a high number of sessions per day, it might become quite expensive since the cost is based on the number of requests your store makes. Since our store has the around 150k monthly sessions and after installing this app for a week this app made a request of around 55,000 requests. We were on pro plan having 100,000 request per month and the price was $130/month approx. We later had to increase the limit to 200,000 request per month, which significantly increased the cost. And there is no immediate support for the emergencies.
We’re sorry for the delay on mobile devices, likely due to site or internet speeds. We reached out to offer help and discuss a personalized plan to address cost concerns for high-traffic stores, but we didn’t receive a response. We’re always working to improve our support. Very bad experience. Very satisfied at the beginning, but the problems soon piled up. Images are not visible when searching, and they cannot solve the problem. I've been emailing for weeks now, and they don't read the content of the emails. So be careful! I wouldn't recommend this app.

I can honestly say that this app has transformed the usability of our website. We got called about a trial just at the prefect time when I was frustrated with the native search capabilities of default Shopify and the vast variation of our products and about to search for a solution, either through an app or looking into getting something customer built. I am so glad we went with it because it not only have customers been loving how they browse our website again but also the staff find it a breeze to use, even when they don't work with our online inventory. Lindsay was amazingly helpful. She took the time to answer my concerns and all of my questions with clear and concise explanations. Anything that she couldn't answer directly, she consulted their team and got back to me so quick. We've had it live for a few months now and I don't know how we didn't have it before.

Much more user-friendly than some other search apps out there. Egor Yaroshenko has been very helpful so far in getting our account set up!

Amazing app, and awesome team behind it! This app vastly improves the look and feel of our sites, and is far superior than Shopify's native search bar. The team has been super helpful with setup and helping me understand how to use and optimize it and answered any questions I had. Highly recommend!

Works very well as a smart search tool for our customers, which is very important for us as we have several thousand products with minor differences and their search shows the relevant products well, even if the consumer mis typed something or put in a typo. Customer Support from the app was very responsive and helpful too to explain features or to help troubleshoot any issues we were facing.

the worst app- this has ruined our search bar during our christmas rush and there is zero help minus a chat bar that just keeps repeating itself. awful service and has now costed us thousands of dollars

This app really elevates the look and feel of our website. It is night and day when compared to the standard Shopify search bar. Brian was with us every step of the way during the one month free trial to answer any questions and help us get the most from the app. Super easy to use and easy to customize as well! I have been working with Egor for several weeks now and it's been great! He has helped me understand this app and I'm extremely excited about our possibilities. I've transferred from Searchanise and this tool is much better right out of the box. Egor continues to help me through the setup process and I'm looking forward to making our website search tool much more advanced!

Our online store has over 20,000 products and we have tried numerous search apps. Doofinder is by far the most robust option. They also have great customer support.

Easy to use, really upgraded our search (we use enterprise tier), and pricing structure is fair and simple to understand.
