This app does not work. I connected to USA server via VPN, It picks up that I am in the USA but prices are still displayed in AUD and check out is in AUD.

Free version does not work. When installed and activated the currency does not change. Also if you use vpn the app does not update the prices at all.

Whenever I add an item to the cart, I have to click every time to choose the currency I want to display.

I need to leave a review to use this app. BUt it is free so I think this is the biggest selling point. Hope it is helpful -----------update after using a week---------------- This app is junk. Never able to use it. contact support and never respond

There's no way to contact help support to make sure this app is running properly. There's no real instructions to set this up. So when I installed it, I assume that it's already up and running. Not clear at all

NOT HUMAN - despite the fact that my Instagram account was blocked and I kindly ask the team to provide me a couple of days more of free trial as I couldn't run more ads, they refused and didn't show any empathy. compared to all the other app providers who accepted. disappointed by this lack of compassion.
I'm sorry we couldn't help you more in this case and we do sympathize with your situation. We offer 30 days free trial (double than most apps on Shopify) and on top of that we also offer a free plan to which we see that you have moved to. We do try and help our merchants as much as we can, for example by offering our app for free to merchants while their store is in development. You were not charged for our app at all while using it for free for 30 days with all its features and we don't appreciate at all you calling us "not human". That is totally uncalled for. Also it hasn't been easy for us either in the past couple of months, our business has also been negatively impacted.

Hello, We were contacted by you at the end of April with an email filled with profanities telling us to stop charging you. You then contacted Shopify to ask for a refund and we agreed to offer a refund, however seeing as how you didn’t pay the funds, we couldn’t offer one, but we did inform Shopify that if the payment was pending they could cancel it so you wouldn’t be charged at all for our app. And after all that you still say that we did nothing to help you during this time? even after you were so disrespectful when communicating with us? We understand that some of our clients have a difficult time during this period and try and help in any way we can. Best wishes, Mike.

Overcharged me for 12 months for the Free plan I’ve subscribed originally as I only used 5 currencies. No reply for my complaint email in which I’ve requested to cancel and refund. Bad very bad

Random issues with the currency converter (displaying prices 100x normal). Slow response time (3+ days). No stats on how many times different currencies are viewed.

not working currency could not be selected and didnt change in the shop. So its usless for our online shop also doesent integrate with Shopify currencies.

I chose an upgrade plan but in vain. The App does not change the price when the picker is changed. Eg. the price in USD remains even when the picker is chosen to AUD.

We actually lost hundreds of dollars in refunds as this app often will incorrectly convert prices (always lower) that the actual price. Customers purchase and then are extremely angry about being charged more. We've reached out 5 times to get it "fixed". Never was.

After installation, I still didn't see any way to change the placement of the currency box. When I emailed the developer, they replied that this would be a "design change" that they were too busy to help with. They made it clear that help would be offered only if we were on the paying plan. Well we were testing the free version to see if we'd want to commit to a paid plan, but with this attitude for sure not! There are several other currency apps which provides free placement options for currency box and I've already found one with easier installation and better design.

I just installed this app yesterday and after following the instructions and settings it made all the prices of my product pages have an error and not showing. I immediately reversed the settings changes and deleted the app but my prices are still not showing, my web developer was also not able to resolve this. It's a big issue for this to be happening just before the weekend where I have highest traffic and a terrible experience for us. I have emailed support on this but issue has not been resolved as of time of writing.

I blame shopify for not adding these basic features like currency switcher with localization to store and keep us under developers mercy, App developer is not helpful, when i changed the theme i asked him to configure the app to my new published theme (and when i change theme i do it because there are very important updates in next version or i decided to change to new theme that serve my needs) developer configured theme but still there were gaps in configurations, i told him that currency still appear in shop default currency in both collection page and cart page, the app developer refused to continue support and he said that i keep changing my themes so he cant help me any more!!!! same time, their app is not working if i configure it by myself, so the conclusion, they want me to pay for monthly fees but with their conditions and their own mood to fix their app errors!! i have to watch the errors in theme and keep silent!!! this is super unprofessional

The WORST SUPPORT EVER received! The developer Vlad was not helpful at all. The code didn't work on my site even if I entered the codes as per instructions. The converter was displayed on the bottom of my footer, instead of on my main navigation. I've asked them to fix it and they just simply put their hands up because I'm on their 'free' plan and I would have to upgrade to get proper support. It's a joke. The design of 'no theme' looks primitive as it's not 'transparent' at all, like it's advertised. It's a waste of time. I immediately uninstalled it and found another app which is MUCH BETTER and it's free. Because of that, I will upgrade to their paid plan. BEST Currency Converter have missed out on my business.
