Downpay: Partial Pay & Deposit

REALLY GOOD APP AND GOOD CUSTOMER SUPPORT

Downpay is great! It has allowed my customers ordering made to order items and pay just 50% deposit until their items are manufactured. When I set this up originally the team were really great in writing code to get it working as I needed it to. My business produces made to order designer radiators which are mid to high end in price - so Downpay gives my customers a choice whether to pay up front or not. Even if they don't the choice was still there.

Downpay has exceptional service! Diana has been extremely helpful in answering my questions. This app has been instrumental in helping our customers secure pre-ordered items without having to pay full price upfront.

We used Downpay for about two years to offer partial payments/deposits on our site and it was excellent from start to finish. Their customer support is based in Canada, which made a real difference — every inquiry was answered quickly by someone who actually understood the request, not routed through an overseas queue with a steep communication gap. They handled every customization we needed without friction — small tweaks like adjusting type sizing on the checkout discount line were done quickly and correctly the first time. When we recently decided to stop offering partial payments and uninstalled the app, they proactively removed our custom code so the site wouldn’t break — a level of care most apps don’t bother with at uninstall. Five stars, easily. If we ever need partial payment functionality again, Downpay is who we’d go straight back to.

We saw a significant increase in conversion since implementing Downpay (especially with our high AOV). Diana is super helpful and responsive and has been one of the best additions to our CRO strategy. Would recommend 100%.

Been working with this app for some very specific use cases. Had to get on chat a few times to figure something out and Lidja is so very kind and helpful. I cannot say enough good things about her. This is an awesome app, I have a very specific use case where I need to be able to take part payments from two payee's, one consumer the other business. When integrated with accounting software, I can take the consumer side first then later send an invoice to business to complete the order payment. This App enables the front end really really well. Can't speak more highly of customer support particularly Lidija. She actually listens and finds solutions. If you are an Australian store, exposed to Support at Home or NDIS funding models, stop looking, this app is for you
