After a few weeks of use, the app suddenly wants more access to sensitive data like customer details or shop orders, etc. So, the app is uninstalled now.

To power essential growth features like Abandoned Cart recovery and Customer Segmentation, Shopify requires these specific permissions so the app can sync lists and trigger automated emails. Since your review, we’ve made transparency our priority: Clearer Onboarding: Our 2026 version now explains the "Why" behind every permission during the initial setup to avoid any surprises. Security Standards: We strictly adhere to Shopify’s latest security protocols, using data only to power your specific automations. While we understand you've likely moved on, we wanted to ensure your concerns were met with a professional explanation.
