We use GM Event Ticketing for our summer camp registrations, and the new question-type feature has been a complete game changer. The expanded display options, granular editing rules, conditional logic, and other customization features have addressed many of the limitations we had with the previous registration process. It is clear that a lot of thought has gone into revamping the platform, not just aesthetically, but also in terms of functionality and how well it integrates with Shopify. It is very user-friendly, and you do not need to be technical to set it up. We looked at quite a few other options, including dedicated camp management systems. Some of them had additional camp-specific features, but for us, the cost difference simply was not worth it. GM Event Ticketing does everything we need: manages registrations, collects participant information, and most importantly, track attendance using daily check-in and check-out for multi day camp. Parents receive a unique QR code with their ticket ahead of time and use it when dropping off and picking up their child, making attendance tracking and pickup verification much easier for our team. The attendance tracking is a huge feature for us. Support is also outstanding. Jeff responds incredibly quickly, often in real time, and genuinely listens to feedback. I was very surprised that a feature we suggested was implemented and released within days. Highly recommended.

Flexible, customizable, and a great fit for event ticketing We've been using Guest Manager for several events now and it's become our preferred solution for event ticketing. What stands out most is how flexible and customizable the platform is; we were able to tailor the ticket types, attendee fields, and checkout flow to fit exactly what each event needed without a lot of workarounds. We also appreciate that it runs through Shopify versus a separate service, which is what we had been doing. Setup was straightforward, and whenever we had specific requirements, the app had the configuration options to handle them. It's clear the team has thought carefully about the variety of ways people actually run events. For any Shopify merchant looking for a ticketing solution that doesn't force you into a rigid, one-size-fits-all setup, Guest Manager is well worth it. We'll definitely be continuing to use it for future events.
I've been using Guest Manager for about a year now and it's been a great solution to our needs. We run in-person classes and workshops around the country, and the ticketing system has been relatively seamless with very few issues. There's a bit of a learning curve on the back end, but all in all it's very user friendly and Jeff from their support team has been quick to respond and answer any questions we had.
We switched over to Event Ticketing by Guest Manager this year to sell our conference tickets and it has been awesome. We have four different conferences with four different ticket types and the app is very easy to use. It also has improved our attendee experience with attendees receiving custom tickets as soon as their purchase is approved. The best part about this app is the customer service. Jeff is incredible. Very responsive. Always solving my problems quickly and has all of the answers. I was very hesitant about running our reg through a Shopify App, but I have no regrets.
Great app for managing all of our events and workshops. Does exactly what we need and the customer support team is always super helpful whenever we reach out. Highly recommend!
We switched to Guest Manager about 7 months ago for our large premieres. It has made a significant improvement to our guest experience and for managing all the special types of invites and tickets needing to sell. Support has always been top notch and helpful. The scan to check in process is so easy and slick that training has been a breeze. We use contractors that are different each time and training takes about 5-10 min depending on the event. They are able to learn and start checking people in without issues. I can foresee lots of other areas that will only get better over time and look forward to continuing to use the system and expand it across our other events we are planning.

FYI - We have released two great things in the past month: A new native Shopify POS plugin for ultra-fast ticket scanning and check-in, and support for Shopify's new Checkout Extensibility where Event Ticketing lists all the customers tickets on the Thank you and Order Status page (so the customers can download, transfer, complete required questions, change tickets to another date/time, or upgrade tickets) all without leaving your store.
Jeff at "Event Ticketing" has always been there for any support I needed...and fast. That includes listening to feature requests, and acting on them. Killer "ticketing app" and even better support.
This app has been a great asset for our business, making keep things organized in our back end so we can get more folks into our workshops. Without this, it would be much more chaotic for our 100+ events a month! Had an issues with refunding credits to a customer, Jeff figured out a fix and implemented it in less than 30 minutes.

WOOOHOOO! Guest Manager rocked! As the Director of Pacific Bitcoin Festival, I was nervous to move away from TIXR who we worked with previously. TIXR treated us well and had really good client service. That said, we decided to move to Shopify with Guest Manager to lower fees and be better able to control the website experience, customer buying and upgrade experience, and the check-in experience. It was a scary decision to move away from a big dog, to what is (at this point) a lessen-known option. That said, we had NO problems at all with check in using Guest Manager. Everyone was amazed. Our staff and volunteers were able to easily download the app on their phone, or use an ipad. The search option works really well, making it easy to problem solve if someone forgot to bring their ticket. We had NO issues at check in. Everyone was thrilled. Thank you Guest Manager! [Additional details: This was a year two event in 2023. We had about 1200 people attend. Speakers. Sponsors. GA. VIP. Volunteers. Staff. We also had several smaller side events and used Guest Manager for all our events]
We run brewery tours and this simple, easy to use app is perfect way to run our ticketing. Support via a messaging facility is quick and always mega helpful. Recomended.

My experience with this app so far has been great. Cost is reasonable compared to other apps I researched and the app is relatively easy to use. Experienced a challenge while setting up recurring dates and Jeff was a great support - got back to me quickly and took the time to answer all of my questions. I would highly recommend this app to merchants looking to offer a well rounded event ticketing experience.
