It took around 30 minutes from zero to set up and translate everything, it's absolutely amazing app, it has all the features we looked for (you can manually manage for example each gift card so if you have physical stores people can use it there too). For this fee it's a must have app for sure.

*Updated* Adding another star due to great customer service. This product does have some quirks if you are using it POS plus online but Arthur has been great about assisting with work arounds. From a functionality standpoint, this was the only app that provided the tools we needed and now that we have some work arounds in place, it seems to be working well (we're only 2 days in, so we have limited data but testing and early customer usage seems to indicate all is good). My biggest issue is the lack of documentation. That is somewhat offset by the prompt and responsive support I received from the GCH team, but I really prefer documentation to help better understand the product. I think general ecommerce stores will have no issues but we're a little more complicated and needed to deal with in store pre printed Shopify gift cards and how to navigate them within GCH (you really can't so we kept a our physical cards as a separate product). Even with some quirks, it's well worth it to have a POS compatible product with most of the gift card features that native Shopify is lacking.

Gift Card Hero really is the ultimate tool for smaller shops that need core gift card functionality at a fraction of the price of other gift card apps. We were ideally looking for a fixed price app that allowed us more functionality than the default Shopify solution. Support has been super responsive and has quickly implemented minor changes that we requested. The app installation went seamlessly and we were up and running quickly. It allows us to add a "send to recipient" option, check balances, update balances, integration with our POS system, scannable QR codes, and on and on. We highly recommend the Gift Card Hero app, it has dramatically improved our gift card process!

Superbe application pour gérer de belles cartes cadeaux ! On peut télécharger ses propres visuels et ajouter les montants que l'on souhaite (directement depuis la fiche produit de la carte cadeau). On peut soit la télécharger ou soit l'envoyer au destinataire à l'heure et date choisie. Le plus est l'aperçu avec la belle animation. L'effet sera garantie !

Finally a simple straightforward gift card app that allows you to upload custom designs, send/schedule to other recipients and it works with your native Shopify Gift card. Wanted some minor changes after set up and their support team was fantastic and went above and beyond to help me out. I highly recommend this app.

The support is A+ and the features are excellent. They saw a void in Shopify's subpar Gift Card system and fixed it. I think it's off to a great start. Glad I found it just in time for BFCM and the holidays! Arthur is great help!

I would say the out of the box app is generally pretty straight forward and easy to use an their support staff is outstanding. We haven't gotten into the custom API but when we do, I'm sure we will get more out of it.
