Give & Grow Donations

We were keen on using Give & Grow Donations but it seems that it only caters for American and Canadian based charities. We also realised that the application does not provide an automated method to display the donation widgets, they must be added manually.

Their customer service is beyond terrible! I would give them a negative star if it were possible. I have been reaching out to their support team for close to a month with no response. The counting widget that shows the amount of money that has been donated to your charity does not show on my store any longer. This seems as though it would be an easy fix for their service team but again I get no response. I would like my money back for this past month since your app is not working. It makes no sense to pay you for a service that you are not receiving. Terrible Customer service Buyer Beware.

Wouldnt recommend. Extremely unresponsive - Have reached out several times surrounding their app not properly uninstalling. Removed code yet still showing pledge counter on products.

EVERY business should be using Give & Grow! Being a shop owner who's passionate about making a difference, Give & Grow makes it incredibly easy to do just that! I'll break down why this is one of the best additions to any shop below. Giving back Give & Grow allows shop owners to customize the organizations that the shop donates from and how those donations will come in. I've set it up so automatically, 5% of every purchase is donated to One Tree Planted which is an organization responsible for planting millions of trees around the world. What I love is the flexibility! There are so many organizations that need our support and you can choose to: 1. Donate to your favorite 2. Donate to multiple 3. Allow customers to donate to an organization of their choosing at checkout-How amazing! You can also set it up to give customers the option to "round up" at checkout and then have that rounded-up amount donated as well. Customer service The customer service through the platform has been stellar! Shortly after downloading the app a member of the support team reached out to me to hop on a call—I'm so glad I did because that's when I learned about all of the different ways I can use the platform. There's also a feature that allows you to display a counter of for example, how many trees your organization has planted thanks to the donations. But, there are counters for different organizations allowing you to share with your customers and fans where their donations are going and how they're helping Dashboard The interface can't be easier. Super clear and to the point and as I mentioned above, the customer service team is so responsive that even if you got stuck, someone would be there to help out as needed. ✨ I wish every brand I'm a customer of donated to organizations of their choosing. It might feel like one person donating doesn't make a large impact, but when you scale that up you really start to see the positive impacts we can all make and it starts on an individual level! Thanks for creating this super easy to use platform that we ALL benefit from!!

I uninstall the app and the pledge option was not cancel. I don't manage to reach the support. It is very rude from their side!

NO PAYPAL SUPPORT! Customers who choose to use paypal in a shopify store cannot donate and it causes their purchase to rejected and stuck in their account for a period of time, there is no mention of certain payment methods not being supported by this app, avoid!

We've been using Give & Grow for a couple of years now and love it. We are part of the Pledge 1% movement, giving 1% of sales to charity. Give & Grow makes this easy - Setup takes only about five minutes and then it runs on autopilot! When we first set it up, I verified with our first beneficiary that they were receiving funds from G&G's parent organization and they confirmed they were. Last November, we found a local non-profit and made them our beneficiary. They confirmed they received their first check within a month, and we have now donated over $700 to them without me having to do anything after setup. This app is great both for busy store owners who want to do good, and for the charities that benefit!

I installed the app few days ago. I want to delete it because it doesnt give the customer to decide by himself what amount he want to donate, its only fixed amount or round up. The app is requiring credit card for installation, and theres no option to delete my CC details! I cant reach the support and want to make sure the details are deleted before i delete the app from my store...

This is my first online business, after doing my research I realize that customer prefers to shop with socially conscious stores. They also like to donate through their shopping experience. This app has made it so easy to show impact through my business. I look forward to seeing customers donate through my store!

Love this app! So happy we offer this platform on our shop and that our customers are able to donate to our charitable organizations. Customer service is great and super helpful during setup.

I'm using this app to to raise funds for Breast Cancer Society of Canada. It is to early to tell how that works out because I only set up yesterday. The app itself is fantastic and easy to set up. It was very straight forward. A counter was added easily to let people see publically the tally of donations. The set up with a banner I created look awesome. I am not sure if I stay with the same donation society because they cover so many I can choose from at a later date.

The give and grow app was so easy to install and create social impact on my store. I really love receiving the tax receipts, this app does everything for me.

BEAWARE. Okay After using 5 days App is not free, They are taking 11%-/12% of the money under external fees. Let's say you got %2.9 credit card processing fee which is not that much for visa and MasterCard. Calling app free but taking 6-7% of donation money is unethical.

We needed help installing the impact calculator and the Pledgeling developers were great and quick getting it up and running. The app is so easy to use and analyze the reports. Seamless in making the donations to our nonprofit partners too. Looking forward to more features!

Most of our customers round up their change to donate. But the reporting is claiming no one has donated. There's no available information online on how to fix this. Unfortunately I have had to disable it until we can hopefully find a fix.
