Gift cards are not delivering to recipients. I reached out to support for help and cannot get in touch with anyone. I just tried to look at our dashboard and I get "Application error: a client-side exception has occurred (see the browser console for more information)." So the app is no longer working for us. We are super disappointed in the functionality and level of support since September. We wouldn't recommend this app any longer.

Left three messages to get support over a week. None of the messages were responded to. If you're having any trouble onboarding or expect to need any level of service, avoid downloading or just uninstall. I should have expected this. Many other 1 star reviews with the same issue.

So disappointed. We've been using this app for some time but suddenly can't get any response from customer service when something isn't working. They just don't respond at all! Looks like we'll have to find another gift card app.

We've tried reaching out to Govalo for support many times through different channels and have had no response. We're now forced to replace our gift card solution on Shopify. A disappointing experience. Update May 13, 2025: Govalo support responded to our support requests and successfully resolved the issue we were having.

No service / customer support for months! I've tried multiple channels multiple times, via live chat / support / email since November at least 5 separate times and each chat / email gets an automated reply that a support ticket's been opened but no replies! I planned ahead for Christmas gift card promotions, have been contacting Govalo since November, and now can't run my promotions. The app itself is great but the lack of support is not just a letdown but also costing me sales. Update (Aug 2025), same problem is continuing again. Repeated attempts to get support with no answers. Out of pocket a few hundred dollars at this point trying to solve the problem for customers. Support needed!
