Edit: The team reached out after my review and made an honorable effort to make things right. The review stands because this is what happened, but I will add to it that I admire the way they handled my criticism. Anything they build breaks when you deactivate the app due to their AI slop code and hard-coded assets being hosted on their servers. AI generated images, copy, headlines never followed the very simple company guidelines (for example, our style guide requires no exclamation points or emojis but every email included both, despite us contacting support multiple times. I never would have used this as a temporary solution if I knew I'd be locked in until I found and replaced everything they built - it took three months of work for the team to get us off this app.
Thank you for the update and for recognizing the effort we made to address your concerns. We genuinely appreciate the nearly two years that we worked together. We are proud of the work we did over that time and sorry the relationship ended on a frustrating note. For merchants reading this, deactivating Grid & Pixel does not make everything we built disappear or break. The vast majority of the work remains in place. Certain dynamic components are powered by our platform and require an active subscription to continue functioning, just like functionality provided by many software apps. We appreciate the candid feedback and the opportunity to make things right.
My experience was phenomenal. Grid + Pixel took the time to listen to exactly what I needed and adjust the email flows and campaigns accordingly. They also encouraged me to add SMS marketing (which I did) and it's been a game changer, especially for the abandoned cart flow.

I asked customer service multiple times to pause the account because it wasn’t what I was thinking it was. They kept putting it off until I was charged and then they showed me a link to uninstall it. Now I have to go and rebuild my Klaviyo flows and get their “stuff” out of my account. No offer to return the amount charged even though I never used their service. I was hopeful when I saw the demos but customer service and support was terrible.
We want to add an important update for anyone reading this review: 100% of this customer’s charges have been refunded. Every dollar paid to Grid & Pixel was returned. During the two months we worked together, we created 20+ campaign emails, 10+ flows, pop-up assets, and other work for the account. We also provided active, hands-on service and direct support throughout the engagement. When the customer decided Grid & Pixel was not the right fit, we provided instructions to uninstall the app and end the subscription. When they remained dissatisfied, we refunded every dollar they paid. We understand that our service will not be the right fit for every merchant, and we wish them the very best.
