Excellent app and outstanding support. We run a Shopify store with more than 20,000 SKUs and manage our own GS1 Norway company prefix. Before finding GS1 Assistant, our workflow relied heavily on manual Excel spreadsheets, GS1 imports, and countless hours of administrative work. From the very first email, Brian was incredibly responsive and helpful. He took the time to understand our unique business model, where a single retro game can exist in multiple variants and conditions, each requiring its own GTIN. Not only did he answer every question thoroughly, but he also implemented support for the GS1 Norway import format specifically to help us streamline our workflow. Throughout the process, communication was excellent. We received direct assistance, onboarding guidance, troubleshooting help, and even new features based on our feedback. When we encountered challenges, they were addressed quickly and professionally. The app now allows us to assign and manage GTINs directly from Shopify while dramatically reducing the amount of manual work required. For businesses handling large product catalogs, especially those using GS1 prefixes and complex inventory structures, this app is a huge time saver. What impressed us most was that the developer genuinely listened to customer feedback and continuously improved the product during our implementation. First class app with first class support. If you need barcodes then this is the only app you need. It can connect to your GS1 account is needed. We have been using this app for 2+ years and in that time have been able to use the barcodes ( Ean and UPC ) to upload products to Amazon , eBay and Etsy ). We also use the barcodes internally for stock verification when picking and packing. This app is ideal and support has always been there if needed. First class app which is easy to use and has the features and integrations you need in 2026.
