I run an online store. After one of the carriers lost an item I had shipped to a customer, I had to send a replacement, resulting in losses and an unhappy customer. At that time, I didn't have any protection. That's why I am very pleased to have Guide Shipping Protection for my shipments now.

unfortunately we were really disappointed with the set up process and lack of support. We were unable to add the widget to our cart, despite following all instructions. when we reached out for support we didn't get a reply.

Guide is a complete disappointment. I strongly advise against using this app for any merchant needs. They're unresponsive to emails, failing to reply even when promised payouts of over 7,000 USD are ignored. To date these funds have not been paid despite an agreement they are owed to us. Communication remains abysmal. They've openly admitted financial difficulty, signalling trouble. With an email chain confirming our ordeal, it's clear Guide can't be trusted. Proceed with extreme caution.

I highly recommend Guide. There setup is much easier than other insurance companies. There prices are also very reasonable which has made most of our customers choose to buy the shipping protection. The integration in our site looks very professional and makes it easy for the customer to purchase.

I switched to Guide Shipping Protection after competitor rates increased. So far, the experience has been great. Customer service is quick, with questions answered promptly within 24 hours. Onboarding was also a breeze and took just a few minutes. After submitting a claim or reaching out via email, customers received updates within 24 hours with actual solutions. With Guide's competitive rates, customers are more inclined to opt for shipping protection with their orders which greatly helpful as a seller.

This is a total disaster. support is terrible. cannot process claims. total scam as far as I am concerned. Im being billed for a free app. If the customer pays .98 for protection why are we as the store charged too? I mean i get the point of the app but dont lie and steal to get people to download. The app isnt free at all. You pay .98 for every customer that chooses to use it. Now the problem is, if theres a claim that needs assistance, there is no one to contact to help us out yet we have to keep paying. There is no login. When you try to it gives you an error message as if it doesnt exist. No account is needed when you pay .98 every transaction and then they bill it to your Shopify. Customers think they are paying that but we are! Im only still using it until i find better. SKIP THIS APP! Update - Guide has still not responded to any of our emails or request from my customers about a lost package. Please do yourself a favor and don't install this app. They are running a scam. I am trying to reach out to Shopify to have them removed, so no one else is scammed by this app and company. Guide does not provide any protection to my customers. My customers can not reach Guide after filing a claim and are not protected. Please do not use this app. I will happily remove once I get any response from the company. The customer service responses have been terribly slow. We agreed to a revenue split, and then Guide never paid us. When we try to ask where our money is we are ignored. Poor customer service. Constantly charging my customers double or triple. Cannot get the refunds. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I sell E-bikes on https://e-bikeheaven.com. Being able to offer customers the peace of mind with shipping is invaluable. A very good and competent package protection service. The onboarding team is incredibly helpful. Toggle options are fully customizable. Their policies and processes are super helpful and after filing a claim and sending over an email to their team, updates are received within 24 hours with actual answers. Speak with their team as soon as possible, they truly have a great system and an incredibly user friendly program!

This is such a simple but VALUABLE app. Being so affordable, a lot of our customers use it to protect their packages, and it takes the stress off of us since we no longer have to purchase separate shipping insurance. Cam is AMAZING to work with too! I've had a couple of small issues that he has responded to usually within minutes to a few hours at most... almost always the same day. Great app & wonderful customer service!

I haven't had the chance to use Guide yet, but I installed it for my e-Store because of the services it offers. I love that my customers' purchases will be protected. I love that if my customers' packages are lost, damage, or even stolen that their items will be replaced. The Guide Protection app is one of the best apps that I've installed for my store. Guide is a fabulous app. I've installed it on any store that I've launched, and just installed it on my newest store! Guide has a fabulous interface and is soooo simple to use compared to filing claims with USPS. This allows us to offer our customers a higher level of service and control over how much they want to protect their packages. Any time i've needed help with setup/general support, they have been so quick to help. I recommend them 100 times over!

This is a must have if you are shipping orders. No greater anxiety than when a customer says their package is missing, but complete relief when you see they protected their order with Guide. Guide team has been great to work with and we would recommend it to any retailer.

I love this app! So many customers add it to orders! I always hated as a brand, for customers to come complaining when orders get lost or shows delivered but they never receive it. Its SO nice to still get paid for the re-order and not lose money. Thank you GUIDE!
