We chose them because we could EASILY track revenue associated with search (Analytics Search Impact Report) AND we could control the search results shown based upon current promotions or popularity. This alone made it very easy for us to justify the ROI for what is basically the ultimate eCommerce on-site search functionality. The depth of the reporting tools is second to none and easily accessible within the Dashboard. Want to see what gets added to the cart, removed from the cart and added back to cart? No problem, it's all there. They are constantly innovating and developing the Search platform and of course, the support is fantastic and greatly appreciated from the team! Shopify's search is a little bare-bones out of the box. Instant Search + makes it meaty. Every Shopify store should use this app. It's absolutely essential.

I enjoyed this addon until I realized I wasn't receiving what I needed from it at the $20 a month price point. Support said I didn't really matter to them because we are a new shop with low traffic so they would discount their plan for what we needed to $30 a month. After being told "You won't really make us any money." I switched to Smart Search & Instant Search. That costs me $18 a month and does everything I need that Instant Search + wants $90 a month for! Their addon works alright if you don't mind tossing money into a black hole and having support tell you that you aren't important. Also if you sign up for a year subscription and try to cancel they try to make it sound like you shouldn't get a refund because of some hotel analogy. Just avoid this company!

App was incredibly simple to setup. After the initial setup, we immediately upgraded to one of the priced options from the free trial as we saw benefit immediately. The value this app provided was so quick we had no choice but to spend the minimal amount to continue to grow it's benefit. Highly recommend this app. A huge plus was also when engaging their support. Their support is super fast, and goes above and beyond to show amazing customer service. Can't say enough about this investment.

This app is great! it does pretty much everything the competing app does but its so much cheaper. Great app to use on website. Helps with conversions and closing sales.
