Title: Interakt Review: Be Careful with Free Trial, Pricing & Onboarding (Important for Shopify & Razorpay Users) Review: This is an honest Interakt review based on my real onboarding experience, especially for founders using Shopify, Razorpay, or WhatsApp automation tools. One of the main reasons I chose Interakt was because it is available within trusted ecosystems like Shopify and Razorpay. Naturally, this builds a strong expectation of transparent pricing, clear billing, and reliable onboarding. Interakt Free Trial & Pricing — Important Clarification During onboarding, Interakt highlights: 14-day free trial Around ₹400 worth of free credits At first glance, this creates the impression that the platform can be used freely during the trial period. However, based on my experience: The credits may be free But the plan itself (e.g., Growth plan) may still be chargeable immediately This is a very important distinction. The difference between: Free credits Free plan usage is not always clearly emphasized during assisted onboarding. Interakt Onboarding Experience During the onboarding call: The team guided me through setup Helped select a plan Encouraged moving forward quickly However, it was not clearly and explicitly stated that: The selected plan was not part of the free trial Charges would apply immediately Because the onboarding was assisted, I relied on that process and assumed I was still within the trial phase. Key Issue: Perception vs Reality To be fair: The pricing information may exist within the platform The structure is technically defined However, the combination of “free trial messaging” + assisted onboarding + plan selection flow can create a different perception at the moment of decision-making. This is where confusion can happen. Advice for Future Interakt Users If you are considering Interakt for: WhatsApp automation Shopify integration Razorpay integration Please make sure you: ✔ Confirm these things clearly: Is the selected plan part of the free trial? When exactly will billing start? What is included in “free credits”? ✔ Best practices: Get everything in writing (email or dashboard) Do not rely only on onboarding calls Ask explicitly: “Will I be charged immediately for this plan?” Final Thoughts This review is not to make any legal allegation. However, it is important to understand that: User perception during onboarding can differ from actual billing structure Especially when: Free trial messaging is present Credits are shown Setup is guided via calls Being aware of this distinction can help you make a more informed decision. Extremely disappointing experience with Interakt. Our WhatsApp marketing automations suddenly stopped working because our subscription was automatically deactivated without any warning, even though we were already on a paid Growth plan (~$41). To make matters worse, the platform then showed two different subscriptions on the same account: Growth Plan under Sell on WhatsApp Starter Plan under WhatsApp Marketing Because the marketing channel had stopped functioning entirely, we were forced to subscribe again just to restore basic functionality, meaning we are now being double billed for something that should be a single service. We raised a support ticket immediately. It has now been several days with no resolution. The only response we received was: "We are checking internally." Meanwhile: Our automations stopped working Our WhatsApp marketing campaigns were disrupted Our billing is incorrect And there is no urgency from the support team For a platform that positions itself as a critical business tool, this level of support is unacceptable. When a company’s marketing infrastructure breaks, days of delay is not acceptable. If this issue is not resolved immediately and the billing corrected, we will be moving our business to another platform. Right now, based on this experience, I cannot recommend Interakt to any serious Shopify brand.

I cancelled my subscription on 10 January and removed my WhatsApp API number from the platform. Despite this, I was charged ₹3,200 again on 25 February. This billing occurred after cancellation and without any active service being used. Since then, I have been repeatedly following up for clarification and refund. The only response I receive is that “someone will get in touch,” but no one actually resolves the issue. Charging a customer after confirmed cancellation is unacceptable. Transparent billing and responsible customer support are basic expectations from any SaaS provider. I have documented all communication and billing proof. If this is not resolved promptly, I will be escalating the matter through the National Consumer Helpline and other appropriate legal channels. I hope the company resolves this responsibly. Until then, I advise other businesses to review billing terms very carefully and keep documentation of all cancellations. Everyone please beware before even installing this application. This is a scam going on for those who uninstall the application later on.

We were getting onboarded with them during which they told everything in our use case is possible but when we were doing actual setup their developer Harshit said "nothing can be done and dont onboard with us we dont care" so after making us wait for 7 days and saying yes your use can be done they wasted a lot of time of ours in discussion and their developer team is the worst, no support, very rude and they dont care if we or anyone as merchants are getting onboarded with them or not. They act like they are the only Whatsapp API provider in the market

Worst app to exist. There is no proper support in the start, why would someone pay Rs.1500 for one time training when we are literally paying for the subscription. Absolutely ridiculous and i do not recommend this app.

As a Premium Subcription customer, this experience has been extremely disappointing. We reported a WhatsApp calling issue to the support team, and Ms. Namrata Salve generated a ticket for the same. As per the Premium support terms, all issues are supposed to be addressed and resolved within 24 hours. However, it has now been more than a week with no proper resolution. Despite repeated follow-ups, we keep receiving responses stating that the issue has been resolved — while the problem still remains exactly the same. There has been no concrete solution, no technical clarification, and no accountability. This is unacceptable for a service that claims priority support for Premium customers. Due to the lack of timely resolution and ineffective support handling, we are cancelling our subscription. Premium support should mean reliability and responsiveness — unfortunately, that has not been our experience.

I was surprised to discover that a new pricing policy was applied to my account despite the fact that I am an active annual subscriber who paid in full in advance. the new pricing should apply only to users who subscribe on or after a specific date, yet it was imposed on my existing subscription retroactively. I still have several months remaining on my current plan. My reasonable expectation — and standard consumer practice — is that pricing changes apply upon renewal, not during an active, prepaid subscription. Applying new terms mid‑contract undermines transparency and violates basic consumer‑protection principles. This is not a practice I have encountered with other subscription‑based services. Customers should be able to rely on the terms they agreed to at the time of purchase without concern that those terms will be altered unilaterally. Additionally, there is no clear assurance that after paying for another annual subscription, the price will not be increased again shortly afterward. This creates uncertainty and erodes trust. Presenting this situation as a “choice” is misleading, as the original agreement has already been paid for and should be honored in full. Fair pricing, contract stability, and respect for consumers are fundamental expectations.

Very bad support. Cannot unlink my WhatsApp number in spite of repeated follow ups. They constantly call for no reason. Tried a test marketing message to 30 contacts. It sent to just 4 numbers out of 30.

The pathetic part is poor support team. Response is very very slow. Sometimes after lot of follow up, somebody replies that also for the shake of giving response, not to resolve any problem

Once you take the plan, nobody will support you to set up the account. During taking payment , people will come and take the payment first via shopify subscription and do false commitment that their team will immediately contact us and set up the required things. But actually nothing happens like that. Its a cheating

Very bad service by the team and third class response from Harsheet Desai, will suggest you to go to wati or business on bot, as we will be shifting very soon. 10/10 not recommended as they don't care of the clients.

I strongly recommend not taking Interakt for WhatsApp marketing. Their service is worst of the worst. I took a paid subscription, but for the last 2 months I haven’t been able to do marketing because Interakt keeps rejecting my templates. The shocking part is: they reject even the inbuilt templates that Interakt itself provides. So basically, Interakt makes templates and Interakt itself rejects them then what is the use? When I complained, they activated 2 templates, but even after that marketing still doesn’t work. Another error keeps coming like “no data / no details”, and campaigns don’t run. I have been raising issues for a long time, but no proper response, no solution. I wasted money + more than money, my time due to their poor support and broken system. Conclusion: Don’t waste your time and money. Choose another WhatsApp marketing provider.

I had a very disappointing experience with Interakt. After paying $35, I was never able to properly use the app despite following all the steps. I reached out to support several times and eventually got on a call with a member of the support team. Unfortunately, the call was unhelpful and quite rude. I was told that there was a “knowledge gap” on my side and that “we are moving in circles,” which felt very dismissive instead of solution-oriented. Despite the app not working for me, I was also told that a refund would not be possible due to company policy. Overall, this has been one of the most frustrating Shopify apps I’ve tried, and I would not recommend it.

worst customer support ever, tried connecting with them but they've created a smart bot on Interakt dashboard to fool us, they always just say we'll call back, agent will contact you, but no, I haven't received any calls or email in the last 15 days. I tried to reach them, but had no luck. Hope you guys will be aware before installing this app.

App is good....too many bugs....gets disconnected...but customer support and onboarding team is very poor in interaktion...they think that we new clients are experts and will do everything by ourselves...for name sake they are account onboarding specialist but not helpful at all....very poor experience...I paid for 1 year...before payment they called me 10 times...after payment I called them 10 times...they replied 1 time...saying Do it yourself Shopify and CRM dont work together...Was assigned an account manager Mr Ashwak who is not helpful and is pointless to have such people as support team. they dont care Sales team is only promising on Sales...and soon after you pay, they divert you to other departments
