I had a very frustrating experience with this migration service due to unclear pricing, inconsistent answers, and critical information being disclosed only after payment. Before purchasing, I asked a very simple and direct question: If I migrate the store myself under the base plan (~$69) without add-ons, are customers and orders included? I was initially told yes — customers and orders are default data and not add-ons. After payment and during the migration process, the story suddenly changed: I was told I needed to pay extra Then told I needed to upgrade my Shopify plan Then told I could avoid upgrading Shopify only if I buy their “All-in-One” package At no point during checkout or before payment was it clearly stated that: Shopify plan limitations could block customer/order migration Or that an additional package would be required despite being told it was included When I asked where this limitation is disclosed in their sales or onboarding process, there was no clear answer — only apologies after the fact. This feels misleading and unprofessional. Critical limitations and costs should be disclosed before payment, not after a customer commits. If you’re considering this service, clarify everything in writing beforehand, especially regarding customers and orders — otherwise you may face unexpected upsells mid-migration. Very disappointing experience.
