I would recommend this app. The app developer work with you to figure out if/how this app can work for your store or not. Keep in mind you may need a few days to get it dialed 100%, but the devs will work to deliver you a working solution.

Darn Locksmith for being too good! Due to Shopify''s fee structure on sales, I subscribed to a higher plan than I probably needed. Which meant that I was placed into a higher tier than I'd hoped for Locksmith. The dilemma is, I couldn't bring myself to reach out to ask for a lower price due to how well their plug-in works! You see, I offer custom products that I only want people to be able to add to their carts (since I despise invoicing as I also have an expansive catalog) AFTER I send them back a proof of what I'd be making for them. Locksmith gives me the peace of mind of protecting my custom products from ordering ahead of a request which is invaluable. It also works with Shopify's app which of all the plug-ins I've had to subscribe to, is the only one. Alls this to say, if you need to restrict products, I HIGHLY recommend Locksmith as it's been invaluable to my sanity and business model!

The support is excellent. When I was struggling with something, the team did not just explain what was happening and how to fix it, they actually DID the fix for me and fast! Outstanding customer service.

Locksmith, particularly Erica in the support team, were extremely helpful in helping to get the app configured as we needed.
