Merges ‑ Merge Products

This did what I needed without breaking the links back to 3rd party fulfillment apps! Perfect!

This app saved me a ton of time and was easy to use. When we integrated our old POS to Shopify, every product was set as an individual page, which would have been fine if we were only doing in store sales. Now that we've branched out online, we had to merge all of the products into collections to make the webpage cleaner and user friendly. Merges saved me days of having to go back and compile all the info myself. All you have to do is select your products you want to merge and the app does all the hard work of carrying over variants, barcodes, pricing, categories, photos, creating a description of the product and more... I highly recommend if you want to compress a bunch of products and save days in time.

Merges is a great utility recommended to me by a SaaS I work with. A couple of things knocked it down a 1/2 star for me. AI For me, the AI-generated titles have included variant details that needed to be cleaned up, and the automatic description wasn't super useful. It may be of some value to many people, but it probably won't be totally hands-off if you need high fidelity to specifications, for instance. SUBSCRIPTION MODEL I have limited time to use it right now, so I have a bunch of credits. Unfortunately, the only way to unsubscribe is uninstalling the app, which wipes out your credit balance (if I'm not mistaken). A free plan would be nice (so that credits could just go on pause), or else a pay-per-use model more suited to the "project-based" nature of merging (for me, at least). WISH LIST The ability to merge other things like collections and inventory locations would be a great addition. If the AI could suggest things to merge that'd be amazing since I have a large catalog. OVERALL Other than that it works great and the developer is very responsive and helpful. If I could give it 4.5 stars I would but I think for most users it'll be at least that.

We’ve been using Merges at Vitalymp since May 2025, and it has saved us days of manual work. Managing a large supplement catalog with multiple stores and warehouses is normally very time-consuming – but Merges makes it far more efficient. The biggest advantage is how AI automatically creates native Shopify products with real variants by analyzing and consolidating product data. Our catalog is now cleaner and much easier to manage: duplicate images are removed, descriptions are unified across variants, and everything stays well-organized without any changes to the storefront. We also appreciate that SEO rankings are preserved thanks to automatic redirects for merged product URLs – a huge benefit when maintaining long-term traffic. The Inventory Sync feature has been especially valuable for us as it provides real-time visibility across our stock, making operations much smoother. On top of that, the app is fully compatible with all Shopify themes and functions, so we didn’t have to worry about technical issues or front-end disruptions. Support deserves a mention too: Andreas and the team are quick, knowledgeable, and genuinely listen to merchant feedback. One feature request that would make Merges even more powerful is price synchronization, as this would help us maintain consistent pricing across all channels, just like it already does with inventory. Overall, Merges is a must-have solution for merchants with complex setups who want to simplify workflows, maintain a clean store, and focus on growth rather than repetitive manual tasks. Highly recommended.

Merges took the hard work and guessing out of cleaning up our small business catalog. I was trying and experimenting with merging my products and suddenly the free credits were quickly depleted. I don't like their credit system, I was really excited to use it to merge a lot of products. I didn't even have time to learn how to use the app.

When we initially decided to merge our products it was taking us hours! Luckily we found Merges and it has honestly saved us hours and hours of time! It merges your products seamlessly, re-directs URLS and offers AI descriptions for products. On top of all of that the customer service we received when we encountered an issue was brilliant, they responded quickly and efficiently to solve our issue. Thanks again!

I am thoroughly impressed with the Merge app. I got the $35 version and can say that it immediately paid for itself in time saved and headache avoided. I expected to experience at least a glitch or two but to the contrary, the Merge app merged dozens of products for me seamlessly and with absolutely no issues whatsoever. Absolutely a MUST-HAVE app for organizing products with their options/variants! Easy to use, fast, and no errors or support needed - it just works. We find that most apps usually have "something" not right--but not this one. It is truly one of the few QUALITY and well-made apps we have ever used. Also, we didn't have any issues or need for support, but we messaged the developer for advice on handling a certain situation. He responded immediately with a easy solution and eagerness to keep helping if we needed. Bravo to this developer. A+++++
