I was charged with photos that saved me 0% in size! Not very honest tbh. Don't really like the email notification spam!

Does the job! PLEAS KEEP IN MIND that after the app requests payment confirmation you cannot back up, which I did because I wanted to change the optimisation criteria and I ended up losing the whole Optimisation and was charged for nothing. I eventually had to pay AGAIN to optimise the photos with the right criteria.

great app, did exactly what is says very fast

If you have a lot more images its cheaper to use another app like Image optimizer. Costed us about $55 to optimize about 4,500 images which is good but ImageOptimizer is around $19 for 5000 images provided you uninstall after running the app. Our fault for not looking around. All that being said, we only saw about 7% reduction in the overall image size and only a 1% increase in Gtmetrix score.

Although we initially had an issue with a subset of our images after compression, Minifier's support team was attentive, diligent, and quick to get it resolved. Marius in particular was very responsive via email.

We just tried it today as we launch our website on Shopify. The process was super easy and I can't see much of a difference in the photo quality. At this stage I will take their word and assume the download speed will be much faster but my first impressions are quite positive.

Only reduces product images, not other images on the site. I suppose my images were ok as it only saved me 4 MB. And I used the highest compression they allow. it works and is good for renaming file names and alt tags. Mine were already optimized. Best used if you upload a few MB per image and want to cut down on file size space and speed of your site. Highly recommended!

Giving this a 3 because it did what it said, but... At the beginning it asks you to decide between lossless (less compression) and lossy (more compression), and warns you that choosing lossy may result in more distortion. Then, after they warn you that it might cause this distortion you don't get to see what changes were made to your images, you're just supposed to trust they didn't ruin anything and publish them sight unseen. There is no option to restore all of the images at once if you aren't happy with the results, you have to go through your site and handle them one at a time. Other apps offer a restore option. Also, there doesn't appear to be a good way to contact the company.

this app compressed all our images but distorted them in the process. now we have to upload all our images again and replace the ones this app distorted. i would NOT recommend this app. very annoyed.

Shit app. Can't see what is being 'optimised' until after you pay. My optimisation ended up being about 50 images that could save 1-5kb... Dev also doesn't respond...
