***Update - This app was not the issue. The issue is with the new Shopify theme's not allowing Legacy option which is required by these apps. Looks like Shopify is going in the direction to fully integrate this feature across all themes at some point. For now, Google and Apple log in is available with New Customer Account setting in SOME regions. I guess we wait for that. I give this app 5 stars as it is a good app from the demo I viewed and wanted to install. This appears to be the best Social log in app on Shopify, but sadly, even after successfully installing the app with Savor theme, there are bugs. The account sign up / sign in page does not show selected social log in options, and when I try to edit account log in page with theme editor, it says: This page is not compatible with the editor due to one of the following issues: Page is redirecting to an unsupported URL Page failed to load due to an error I am working Shopify support to see if it is anything on Shopify end, and I have reached out to Devcloud support. I will report back with how that all goes.

Despite successful image verification, our users are repeatedly prompted to verify, resulting in a flood of complaints. Support has been completely unresponsive. Customers who fail image verification are likely to lose their willingness to purchase. This is a terrible app.
Hi there, We replied to your email about this problem, the "image verification" is the captcha provided by Shopify which is not part of our app and is active by default in all shops. We sent instructions about how to disable it in Shopify. Very hard to cancel. Nothing about delete or cancel in their FAQ, big pain.

The app is hard to use, no one replies to emails, and even the syndication module changes synchronously for each independent site, which bothers me when I run a small language independent site!
Hi there, Our app works automatically using the app blocks integration, there was an error in your store re-using the same integration code in different stores (maybe due to a theme code reuse). We apologise about the delay on your ticket, you received multiple responses to your support case trying to find the cause of issue.

The app was easy. The approval part for Google was a bit difficult. Make sure to check the box to use the official branding of google for the button you place on your store. The conversion from password accounts to google accounts is a bit kludgey. You need to know your store password to attach the account to your Google or Facebook account. this is probably a good safety feature so that someone doesn't take over your account, but since the email is used and authenticated by Google or Facebook, the Google or Facebook authentication is stronger than your store password. If someone created an account with your email address, then pressing forgot password allows you to change it, so is this step really necessary? When switching from store password to Google or Facebook auth the store password is meaningless and isn't really necessary. Also the time it takes to show up on the page is a bit slow. It would be better to show up immediately but greyed out until the buttons are ready, so that you know they are an option before you type in your password. Overall this was an easy application to add and set up. It works great so 5 stars.

Enable Login Popup is very expensive $40++. Other apps are the same function at $1.99. So, I move to other apps and reduced costs $1 a month.

Be careful when installing this app. Your customers login information is stored through the app and not through Shopify. After installing this app, all of our current customers were forced to reset the password and their data was stored on the app. Even after resetting their passwords, every time they try to login it would give them an error. Be very careful when installing this app because the security of your customers data will be in the hands of the app developers.
We are sorry about your experience with our app. As the FAQ section says, if the customer already exists in your store, they need to provide the password to confirm that the existing account belongs to them (just once). In case your store don't support multipass feature (avaialble for Shopify Plus stores), our app needs to keeps track of the credentials of the user which are hashed and secured (this is the credentials to access the shopify store, not the social network). I found this app easy to use, however a little complicated on removing the one click logo thingy. I would recommend it, as it automatically adds a bucket load of contacts to your subscription list.

good stable app with good service in reasonable price. tightly recommended. we tried other social log-in app before which cause a lot spam members, but this app is working fine.

I used this app for about 6 months than randomly a popup appear on my website saying "NOT SECURE" DANGER. I have no idea how long this popup was up but it likely cost me thousands. I uninstalled the app and this did not remove the popup. I than found the code calling the popup and removed it. I now have a error appearing on my live website sating " Liquid error: Could not find asset snippets/social-login.liquid " and reached out to support to get it removed but no response have been received. I do not recommend this app to anyone.

Hello! Sorry about this. We replied the emails but seems like for some reason you didn't get them. It seems to be a problem with the store right now. The login page doesn't load for me at https://silkzone.in/account/login. As far as I see this is not caused by our app. It might be a problem with other app or with the store theme. I cannot in any way recommend this app. It is not fit for use - when installed on our site, it would not allow customers to log in or create an account with a social app - it would force them to always follow a forgot password loop. When we requested assistance, we received an initial response and despite multiple follow-ups, we've received no assistance since and complete silence. We found this level of service to completely poor and we're now looking for a Shopify recommended app instead.
