8/31/2018 Update: It looks like the original developer sold the app and now Parcelify is a paid app (it used to be free). We previously gave this 5 stars because it was a free app and it performed the intended function well. Now that it is a paid app though it should have a much easier to use interface. Setting up rules is complicated and time consuming. There are certain things that are trivial but add up; they price things in cents instead of dollars, you have to use certain keyboard symbols for and/or etc. They don't have a way to easily exclude US territories etc. It's a good app, but if they want customers to pay for it they should really consider updating the user interface. Original Review: The standard Shopify shipping options are an absolute joke. This app certainly has a learning curve, but once you get the hang of it the power of it is incredible. We are now able to offer all sorts of different shipping options since we can assign them at the SKU level, which is bringing us significantly more profit. You do need carrier calculated shipping to use the app (it's not an app issue, it's a Shopify restriction) which is only available on the Shopify Advanced plan. After some research you can call Shopify and ask for this feature and they will turn it on for $20/MO (you have to call though, this isn't advertised anywhere). If you switch your billing to annual they will also turn this feature on for free (you just call in and ask them to turn it on). Side Note: Shopify includes territories that are not states (Puerto Rico, Guam, Armed Forces Americas, Virgin Islands etc.) in the United States dropdown… so the US rates you setup will default to including those territories. Be sure to exclude them as states in Parcelify if you don't want your USA rates to pull to those territories.

It became very easy for my online store furniturestop.co.uk now to create shipping rates based on our customers' address, products, weight or price. Simply loving this app. It is so easy to use.

Outstanding. We needed to specify a Same Day Shipping Zone and the Parcelify app let us do this incredibly easily. Highly recommend if you have custom shipping requirements.

Once you get over the steep learning curve, it is actually a very powerful shipping tool, for an app that is free. It has certainly made creating shipping pricing in Australia much better.

This app gives you so many options for shipping. Shopify does not have per city shipping zones in my country and this app allowed me to create those per city shipping zones through filters. It can even help you set unique shipping rates. This is one of the best apps ever, especially since it's free and open source.

I've been looking for a shipping app like this for such a long time. Can't believe that it's now available. This is such a powerful app in managing my shipping fees per country, per SKUs, per product, per shipping promo...almost anything that you can think of for your shipping rules. This has definitely solved my shipping rules problem. I can now provide fair shipping rates and delivery information to all my customers. This is such a must-have app and one of the best Shopify apps that is really a newbie friendly, quite easy to manage, very powerful and most of all...it's freaking FREE! Thanks so much Christ Blais and to the whole Parcelify team! You rock!!! :-)

App does not take into account discounts for free shipping, so someone can get free shipping without paying the minimum established
This is true. However, this is a restriction of the Shopify platform and not one related to Parcelify. The order of operations of the checkout is locked down by Shopify and shipping rates get selected before discounts are applied. This means 3rd party shipping apps like Parcelify have no information about the discounts. We've flagged this with Shopify numerous times we'd love to see this changed.

This is a very good app. Our shop had one specific product that had a lithium-ion battery and required special shipping arrangements for different countries. We were able to execute this successfully. We had some trouble getting it to work at first but after a bit of patience. Christian took some time out of his busy schedule to fix our problem. The problem we had was having spaces when adding the country codes to the filters. We wanted to exclude the US and Canada. We input US | CA and the correct way is US|CA with no spaces. Hi, I love the app, after struggling with so many other apps which are so focused on product based pricing, I have found the right app for our needs and I am so happy as it works like a charm! I want to give 6 stars if possible! I always wanted to offer free or discounted shipping rates with both a spend threshold and a weight limit, e.g. spend more than £100 for up to 30kg, so that I can limit the weight while offering a discount to my customer, that is the only app which can do that! Wanted to add a free shipping option, but exclude certain regions. Parcelify did everything we wanted in a clean, simple interface.
