Don't use this app. It is useless at all, no clear instruction, after uninstall it, it remove the page title

Leaves trances of code behind on pages after uninstall and if using a different product, it creates a headache.
Thank you for your review. However, the idea of trances in your code is a new one. Perhaps you're referring to the snippet that must be removed after the app is uninstalled if you're using an older version of the app.

Very Confusing app. No tutorials or information given. It automatically changes all your pages names. So in the meantime of figuring out their platform, your whole website pages are renamed. There are no quicklinks to edit the SEO suggestions, just learn how. There are no suggestions for character length when editing page titles. Just a weird overpriced seo service. Sent them an email for support a week ago and did not hear back. Sent them a new one. So this review is subject to change.
Hi, Thanks for sharing your experience. We apologize it wasn't better. However, this review is not accurate. In fairness, there are three problems with this review: 1. Your email was answered in under an hour. However, all of 2. We offered you a consultation as you requested. You didn't respond. 3. Finally, we have hundreds of support articles and videos in our app. We are always working to make our app easier to use and we are sorry when it's too complex for our users.

ATTENTION: I can only warn everyone about this app. After you install this app in order to test it, it not only removes some of your source code, it also adds code to your shopify shop. And when you unistall the app, the changes in your source code will not be undone, at least parts of it. Many of the changes stays as they are and you can take care of removing the code or restoring the removed code yourself. I needed a programmer for this. This is not how an app should work.
Thank you for the review and sharing your experience. After looking at the support tickets you had with our customer service team (available 22-24 hours per day) it looks like most of this review is reflecting issues that were never discussed. In each case when you raised any issue with our team your questions were well researched and handled professionally. The way the app is able to install/uninstall code is how Shopify requires us to run the app. Thanks again.

We've had this app for a month, nothing but issues. Shopify recommended this app after our previous SEO app was banned from the app store. The main functions we needed were passing along Structured Data to google, we're a month in and *maybe* have that figured out now. We also noticed that once the app was installed folks started finding old, deleted products on google and bringing them to 404 pages. We NEVER had 404 issues, now we have had thousands in a fw short weeks. The biggest issue was their support email rejects all emails--their listed support email [email protected] rejects any emails. The email [email protected] must be used which is not listed here, but they will respond back from [email protected] and you will not be able to have a conversation/thread with them. The only way I was able to open a thread of communication with them was by asking Shopify Support to start an email chain. But not even Shopify will give me their true contact email. Honestly surprised they are allowed to have an App without a help email. I have no idea how this app has 5 stars. I am also adding here that it's called Plug in SEO in the app store, but when you download the app the title is Plus in SEO "BETA" which would make sense why it's not working perfectly.

The way it works for us is that if someone visits a 404 page, a request is made to our server (because of pluginseo snippets) we only record the links and it is not possible for our app to create new URLs or to change settings that would create/lead to these 404 landing pages. As for our support email address you could reach us at [email protected] and/or [email protected] (both are legitimate email addresses), nevertheless we've run tests and also asked assistance from Shopify Support to check on it. After over two years of use, customer support became increasingly unwilling to help with the problem and eventually uninstalled

We purchased the "Premium SEO Package" on Feb 19, 2022. Our website has over 100 products. We understood that in this package they will only do 10 products and that's fine. But even so in these 10 products they did not do Product Meta Title, Product SEO descriptions and Alt Image Text. Then they gave us 10 suggestions for Product H2 Subheadings and they had used a few of them for the 10 products they did. Since we have over 100 products, we then asked them to give us a few more suggestions. Today is March 14 and they have not replied us at all until now. So we suggest not to buy any additional package from this company. Maybe you hire an expert to help you is cheaper and we are sure "BETTER"!!

In my opinion it a funnelling, not an app. They want you to install it to put you on plan. I also left with SEO fields inside my theme I cant get rid off after uninstall. thanks

Our SEO fix jobs and Plug in SEO Plus monthly options are completely separate and OPTIONAL but very complementary to each other. A lot of customers start out with Plug in SEO and then purchase one-off fix packages if they need more help in specific areas. After uninstalling a Shopify app there may be code still leftover from it in your theme. That's often not the fault of the developer, it's the way Shopify works. Unfortunately when you delete the app in your Shopify admin the app's access to your theme is immediately removed: there's no opportunity to clean up leftover theme changes. We installed this app and the next day ou ranking in Google was completely wiped off. Traffic is down 25% and it will reduce further if we don't take action. sent emails after emails and given them access of admin and till now no reply. Very bad customer support service and very disappointing to be in this position. Shopify pls look this is very dangerous for the business.

Why you guys charged 20 monthly just to let me know what it needs to get fixed in my store's SEO. Then, you want to charge me 8 to 18 times more for to assist to fix problems with my store SEO?. I'm really disappointed with you guys and your App.

Reached out to customer service about the error "Cannot Connect to Search Console An unexpected error occured, refresh to try again." on Wed, Jun 30 2021 and while they did contact us back it's now Jul 22 and the problem has not been fixed. We are on the Paid plan but if this continues much longer it may be time to switch to another SEO plugin.

You have charged me a fee of 20 dollars when you start the trial period you offer, it does not seem honest to charge without offering all the accurate information, I am not enjoying your service but the charge is done. It's not a good practice to attract customers, I think. I will certainly not use this app again.

This app did not prove to be super helpful for us. Every SEO issue that the app flagged led us to a dead end - with an invitation to PAY their "expert" to help fix it for us. This app doesn't seem to provide a clear and intuitive way to resolve SEO issues on your own. I want an SEO app that delivers spot-on search results, without digging into my wallet for extended add-on services. There are better SEO apps out there IMHO. We're switching our store over to the Sherpas Smart SEO app which makes it simple for end-users to tweak SEO on their own. --- But do your own research to confirm... Read the Shopify reviews for any SEO app you see in the app store; then visit the store that posted the review, copy a line of their data, and do a Google search. It's pretty easy to establish whether an SEO app delivers on its promises. Not saying Plugin SEO is bad, I just feel there are better options and more user-friendly tools out there.

The job was still not perfectly implemented three weeks after the guaranteed implementation time. May 6, 2021 YOU HAD ENOUGH CHANCES. Please leave me alone ... I now have to remove unnecessary html code created by you … this job was just a waste of time and money. PLEASE LEAVE ME ALONE!!!

Absolutely horrible customer service and SEO paid work. I paid for their "Complete $270 SEO Package". After 2 months of them saying they are having email and messenger problems and not receiving messages, having technical difficulties, tech problems, ect. I canceled the job and deleted the App. Stay away.

Horrible customer service.. they invited me to use their extra service to speed up my website. They promised to get job done within 2 weeks but ended up nothing done for 1 month. I would have given 0 star if possible
