I have absolutely no hesitation in leaving a 5-star review for this addon and the developers and the customer service/support. The base search and filtering in shopify was total junk for my purposes. I tried every single one of the other, more "popular" Search & Filter addons, many of the "industry standards", I won't name names, but they are all highly reviewed with hundreds/thousands of installations. They also did not provide an acceptable solution to my needs, felt clunky, slow, and unflexible. I found PrefixBox on the Shopify Appstore and I was initially a little concerned that it didn't have hundreds of 5* reviews like some of the other apps but let me tell you, I'm so glad I gave it a try.. I installed it, configured it with 90% of what I wanted, I had a couple slight issues that I was planning to look at the following morning and out of the blue I receive a phone call from PrefixBox customer services the next morning, checking in to make sure I was happy with how it was working, could they help with anything, anything I don't quite understand. I was absolutely blown away. I explained the couple of minor issues I had and they were on the case, tailoring and customising the application *exactly* how I wanted it to work. Honestly I've not had an experience so positive in a long time (if ever?). Please, give these guys a chance, even if it doesn't do things *exactly* as you want, they can work beautiful magic. I'm blown away. 100% worth the monthly subscription, and I'm comfortable in the knowledge that if I have a problem, I can reach out and they won't stop until it's perfect. A++++

Great app and Amazing customer service. I needed an app that would help me with searches in my store and give customers smarter recommendations! I couldn't be happier with the app's features and the results. The customer service is incredibly dedicated to help out and very responsive. I needed to make some custom changes in order to get the app look as i wanted visualy, as i have quite a custimized store, and just a couple of hours in they had already changed it to my needs. This app has quickly become one of my favorite Shopify apps.

After years with Unbxd, I was ready for a change. The platform often felt clunky and confusing, with too much manual work required just to keep things running. Technical issues were frequent, support was slow to respond, and new features rolled out at a crawl. Most of my calls with their CSMs revolved around minimal reporting, rather than proactive strategies to help me get more out of the platform. Add in the higher price point and long contract, and it just didn’t feel like a good fit anymore. Even though I haven’t officially launched Prefixbox yet, the difference in the onboarding experience has been night and day. Aaron and the team have been incredibly responsive, detail-oriented, and proactive in walking me through every step. The testing phase has gone smoothly, and I’ve had plenty of opportunities to try things out and give feedback. Based on what I’ve seen so far, I’m confident I’ll end up with a stronger search solution at a much better value.

I had a great experience with Soma's support team – they were prompt, helpful, and really tried to solve my issue quickly. The app itself is well-designed and easy to use, and I honestly loved almost everything about it. However, the one major downside is that it doesn't follow the product order set in Shopify collections. Since product order is crucial for our store (we rely on manual ranking based on performance), I had to stop using the app, which was a tough decision. I truly hope this limitation can be addressed soon – if it is, I’ll happily come back to it. Thanks again to the team for their outstanding service!

Aaron and the entire team at Prefixbox have be sooo incredibly helpful in setting up our filters for our store. We've had a lot of requests in terms of how we want search/filters and time and time again no matter how much I reach out, Aaron has been more than happy to get on calls with me and help on. Out of every app I have used for my clients ( and there have been many ) - Prefixbox and Aaron are the most responsive and accomodating. There are real people behind this and they are always innovating and doing their best to build something that serves their customers. Can't say enough good things. okay so this app can do EVERYTHING. If you dive deep and look through all the settings you can adjust the filters and seach funtions to your preference. The support staff is also very quick and helpful if you need them!

We tried several major search providers before landing on Prefixbox, and the difference is night and day. Unlike Klevu, Prefixbox's implementation process was easy and fast. The team was always transparent, which was refreshing. They weren't pushy and trying to sell me non-existent features like other app companies. On top of that, Prefixbox is one of the only providers that supports filters with meta-fields and meta-objects. This is a game changer for how we organize and surface products. If you’re looking for scalable, transparent, and actually functional site search and filters - Prefixbox is the way to go.

This company from the onset was very responsive and throughout the entire onboarding, I received quick and thorough communication and was able to go over exactly what our ideas were and they were all executed flawlessly. Aaron was always available throughout the process. Very highly recommend!
