SCAM! Do NOT install this app! There is no free version, and it will cause serious issues with your store. I'm struggling to fix the broken code. This type of app should not be allowed on Shopify.

Hi There - I'm very sorry for the trouble you had. The app shouldn't include any code in your shop, it only discounts prices. Wondering if maybe another app conflicted? You are correct, the app isn't free, but there is a free trial. Apologies if that was confusing in the pricing. The free version listed is if it's installed in a Dev shop, or Shopify Sandbox test shop.

Something doesn't sound right, wondering if you maybe tried to remove the discounts another way and not through the app? The app discounts products through Shopify's API, and then when you turn off a sale it changes them back through the API. Sometimes we see merchants try to manually change prices back in Shopify rather than through the app. Wondering if maybe that happened.

I tried removing the discount I had applied and it hasn't applied it to all my products even though the sync was complete. Tried to reach out to customer support as this needs fixing urgently but I'm out of hours - not good enough for an e-comm store. I have uninstalled the app but it has not fixed my problem.

Hey there - really sorry for the trouble you had. Wondering if maybe the products that didn't discount simply weren't selected? It should always discount all the products selected, but if you selected a product in a collection, or a by tag etc and maybe some products weren't included they were missed.

DO NOT USE THIS APP! Installed today and used the 'straight out of the box' discount creator. It has a very simple system in order to create the discount but when we turned it on, it applied the discount, sitewide TWICE. And it did so by changing the physical price on our shopify products (not just front end displayed price). We are losing hundreds of dollars by the minute and you can't reach any staff at all outside of the standard contact hours - no emergency help. You can't reverse their discounts, they have changed all of our pricing!!

Update: Let me explain to you I am not putting your app or allowing you permission to my store as I did research on your company and trusted your app. I set up the app set the sale to start at 12:01 am est on Black Friday. It took a long time to turn on all products after 45 min it was finally done. Worked great all day. Then a customer reaches out to me to let me know there is no sale on my website at 6pm est (6 Hours before the sale was set to end) So i looked into it and your app had already turned off the discount/sale I have set for 11:59pm est the same day. A few minutes later I received an order that should have charged the customer $36.99 and sold the item for $9.00. The regular or original price after your sale went off I have $9.00 in the store after researching I found several more. I don't use any other discount services so this was all on your app. Bever in 7 years have I ever had this happen. Your app was working awesomely then 3/4 through the day on Black Friday it cancelled my ongoing sale for the day did not return all prices back to normal. Customer were paying 1/5 of the price is how I caught it. This is crazy.

Download the app, they charged me $99, I message for help installing and they don't integrate with my cart app, now they are REFUSING to refund me. This is all within 2 days. STAY AWAY.

Worst experience ever! The apps stopped working and generated damage on my website, then they sent a message saying that they had a problem and would probably display the wrong prices for the customers.

Can't even use it. I paid $20 just to find out after the first day that my inventory management system would make this app useless for me. I uninstalled it after 2 days, but Bold still got their money. It would be nice if the developer would include some sort of disclaimer stating that the app will stop all of your sales if you use a 3rd party inventory management system.

I've been using Bold Discounts for some years. We've recently integrated our stock inventory with an API connection. Since then our promotions have stopped working. Every morning we have to manually reset all our offers. We sent several emails to the support team at Bold Commerce and we are extremely disappointed with their support. Firstly we were forgotten about and now we've now been told that it could take a minimum of 2 weeks just to investigate!!! This is not good enough especially when its a business critical problem. Extremely unprofessional and unhelpful. The app was ok when it worked, but I suggest that you don't download due to their poor after service.

Went to install the app but there was an error installing. Server error apparently. Deleted and retried a couple of times and same issue. Couldn't get into the app to do anything. Deleted once more and moved over to a reliable app.

While Bold Discounts is simply for straight-forward sales & discounts - you can choose to add another app (Upsell) for the Buy One, Get One deals and more. If you do not want 2 apps, we do have another product called Bold Bundles, which will allow you to use only one app for Buy One Get One deals. I hope this helps! Terrible app and terrible support, the app would not turn on properly for black Friday (variants wouldn't sync - had to reach out to support to trigger it). When it did turn on the app applied discounts twice (which caused a lot of havoc with customers and our stores). I set up the date range for BFCM and the app also didn't turn off properly so now I have to go through and manually update the prices back to their original in Shopify. SLOW... no options, and no stats... used twice and it was a nightmare, every time we had to turn on to test or turn off, had to wait like 30 mins for it to complete....much better ways to accomplish this by simple exports/imports using bulk edit tags etc... and did I mention SLOWWW. Heck I just noticed we been paying for this for years... heck I thought we cancelled it after the trial.. and its $20/month! It's not worth $2/month seriously... and did I mention SLOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW? Will be removing now.

This company is TERRIBLE. Their own apps don't work with each other. They update one and it breaks the others, STEER CLEAR! My site has been affected by their adjustments for over a week, and support is VERY slow to respond or to fix the problem.
