When I already have an activity price, it is not possible to apply additional discounts on top of that activity price. It also fails to explain how to select the product labels for the discount. The overall design is extremely unintelligent.

This is the WORST application I've ever seen in my life. Because my discounts KEPT INCREASING UNINTENTIONALLY. They ended up applying a 99% discount even though I DID NOT WANT IT. There's NO live support available to quickly resolve this situation.

As someone else said already, why do you say you have a free plan— if you have no free plan?
Hi! I apologize for the confusion. The app is free for *development* shops. Meaning - stores that are not on a paid Shopify plan but are a dev shop that an agency is setting up, testing with, or is a sandbox shop. We tried to make that as clear as possible in the description. Really sorry for the confusion on that.

After a webinar by the BOLD co-founder, we were excited to give this a try to create value to our long term subscription customers as he suggested as one of the many features this app can do. Only to find out that it really doesn't work the way he stated in the webinar with the app. BOLD is a great subscription model but that's kind of where it ends as everything else is piece meal adds that are not intuitive and needs further development.

If there is no free plan, then why does it say you have a free plan?
Hi! I apologize for the confusion. The app is free for *development* shops. Meaning - stores that are not on a paid Shopify plan but are a dev shop that an agency is setting up, testing with, or is a sandbox shop. I'm done with this app. We've been using it for several years now, but this is the end. During our Black Friday sale we set up tiered discounts. Some variants of products were discounted 20%, some were 25%. Unfortunately, this app incorrectly discounted all of our variants 25%. It has worked fine for quite some time until we reached out to support and they told us we had two versions installed on our store. While the extra 5% may not seem like much, it is 10% more than we would typically discount our products due to our margins. We will stick with Shopify's automatic discounts going forward, especially since they finally allow you to choose if coupon stacking is an option or not.

I removed and discounts still applied. I cant remove. And support NEVER RESPONDS
Something doesn't sound right, wondering if you maybe tried to remove the discounts another way and not through the app? The app discounts products through Shopify's API, and then when you turn off a sale it changes them back through the API. Sometimes we see merchants try to manually change prices back in Shopify rather than through the app. Wondering if maybe that happened.

I tried removing the discount I had applied and it hasn't applied it to all my products even though the sync was complete. Tried to reach out to customer support as this needs fixing urgently but I'm out of hours - not good enough for an e-comm store. I have uninstalled the app but it has not fixed my problem.
Hey there - really sorry for the trouble you had. Wondering if maybe the products that didn't discount simply weren't selected? It should always discount all the products selected, but if you selected a product in a collection, or a by tag etc and maybe some products weren't included they were missed.

DO NOT USE THIS APP! Installed today and used the 'straight out of the box' discount creator. It has a very simple system in order to create the discount but when we turned it on, it applied the discount, sitewide TWICE. And it did so by changing the physical price on our shopify products (not just front end displayed price). We are losing hundreds of dollars by the minute and you can't reach any staff at all outside of the standard contact hours - no emergency help. You can't reverse their discounts, they have changed all of our pricing!!

Download the app, they charged me $99, I message for help installing and they don't integrate with my cart app, now they are REFUSING to refund me. This is all within 2 days. STAY AWAY.

I keep receiving an error 500 all the time on this app which is really frustrating. No way to resolve.

Worst experience ever! The apps stopped working and generated damage on my website, then they sent a message saying that they had a problem and would probably display the wrong prices for the customers.

I've been using Bold Discounts for some years. We've recently integrated our stock inventory with an API connection. Since then our promotions have stopped working. Every morning we have to manually reset all our offers. We sent several emails to the support team at Bold Commerce and we are extremely disappointed with their support. Firstly we were forgotten about and now we've now been told that it could take a minimum of 2 weeks just to investigate!!! This is not good enough especially when its a business critical problem. Extremely unprofessional and unhelpful. The app was ok when it worked, but I suggest that you don't download due to their poor after service.

I would need 2 of the BOLD apps to offer a free product with another one or offer one at % cost. I am a small business and its is far too expensive for my small business with about 2 offersevery 3 months

While Bold Discounts is simply for straight-forward sales & discounts - you can choose to add another app (Upsell) for the Buy One, Get One deals and more. If you do not want 2 apps, we do have another product called Bold Bundles, which will allow you to use only one app for Buy One Get One deals. I hope this helps! Terrible app and terrible support, the app would not turn on properly for black Friday (variants wouldn't sync - had to reach out to support to trigger it). When it did turn on the app applied discounts twice (which caused a lot of havoc with customers and our stores). I set up the date range for BFCM and the app also didn't turn off properly so now I have to go through and manually update the prices back to their original in Shopify. BOLD use to be great, but they've changed their support, and it's now horrible, do not use, I wish they went back to how it use to be.

SLOW... no options, and no stats... used twice and it was a nightmare, every time we had to turn on to test or turn off, had to wait like 30 mins for it to complete....much better ways to accomplish this by simple exports/imports using bulk edit tags etc... and did I mention SLOWWW. Heck I just noticed we been paying for this for years... heck I thought we cancelled it after the trial.. and its $20/month! It's not worth $2/month seriously... and did I mention SLOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW? Will be removing now.
Sorry for your negative experience with our app. Appreciate the feedback however, we'll let the developers know to look into speeding up sync time.

This company is TERRIBLE. Their own apps don't work with each other. They update one and it breaks the others, STEER CLEAR! My site has been affected by their adjustments for over a week, and support is VERY slow to respond or to fix the problem.
