CollectXCo review for VOL ‑ Surcharge & Product Fees

Vugar, the founder, asked me to paste this summary; he quite literally contacted me within 3 minutes of installing the app, and proceeded to set up a fee for us, fantastic support! We were looking for a Shopify POS solution that would allow us to apply additional fees, ideally with the flexibility to choose when those fees are charged rather than having them automatically added to every transaction. ​ I came across VOL Extra Fees and reached out with a few questions about manually applying fees through Shopify POS smart tiles and how taxes would be handled. ​ What immediately stood out was the support. Within minutes, I was speaking directly with the founder, who was friendly, responsive, and clearly familiar with Shopify POS. ​ He explained that the app supports both manual and automatic POS fees and offered to help configure everything for our store before guiding us through the POS setup. ​ Instead of leaving us to figure out all the settings ourselves, he offered to handle the initial configuration personally. He also walked us through getting started with the free trial. ​ It's refreshing to find a Shopify app where you can speak directly with someone who understands the product and is willing to get involved from the very beginning. ​ We're still in the early stages of configuration, so I can't comment on the long-term functionality just yet.
