Hello, Thank you for your feedback. As a rule, the app loads quite fast, especially if you are using "fixed"-priced ones. Percent-based ones may take a bit longer to load as it's required to calculate the price in the background and cache the fee. Also, the performance can be affected by other scripts loading in the cart. You can create several separate fees and make them work for different states using the "Locations" setting. As for the "Shop" app by Shopify, it doesn't allow integrations. We would be happy to make our app work there, but we cannot do that.
