Really bad and invasive. It sells the same products you have on the website from competitors for higher prices. No way to control what is being presented.

Very invasive app. You have almost zero control over which products show up on your website. Do not use!

App was working great for a few months. Gave me around $300 a month. Now it says my earnings are zero now and for last month (which it previously wasn't). Still shows that I am giving commissions and what not but is giving zero earnings and it's just not working.

Avoid this app! I am uninstalling this app because it imports way too many fake and bad quality, irrelevant products. I don't recommend this app to anyone who cares their store's reputation! Be aware!

I had to uninstall this app. I sell high-end products, and there is no clarity or guarantee regarding these “network” items. This creates confusion for customers, who may assume these products are mine and that I am responsible for them. I’m not comfortable with that.

Adds all kinds of products you will not want on your store that are completely irrelevant to your brand. DO NOT INSTALL AND ACTIVATE.

This does not make sense for a store or for customers. It is not clear that multiple orders are being placed. And the wild variation of what is selected as "relevant" is not the case. The inability for quality control or fine-tuning exclusion makes no sense at all. Trash.

The app is a bit out of control. You have no control over which products show up on your site. They show related products, but some of the products weren't even related. You could exclude by vendor, but not by product. You don't even know what vendors are on because there's no list in the admin for the app. I'm sure Shopify will fix this in the future, but I don't recommend using this app until that controllability is integrated into the app admin.
Thank you for this feedback. You're right that the app works differently than you expected. Product Network recommendations are relevant to the collection or search query and are dynamic so you won't see a fixed catalog. We understand this isn't the level of control every merchant needs. If you prefer to handpick exactly which brands and products show on your store, Shopify Collective is built for that use case. We appreciate you trying Product Network and sharing what didn't work for your business.

Customers do not understand that they are placing multiple orders in one checkout. They go to one site, add products to the cart and think it is all one order. This creates confusion due to multiple charges on CC and shipping charges. Customers do not get discounts on products from other stores even though they put a discount code at checkout. If other stores mess up the order, customers do not know who to reach out for assistance. Shopify provides very little information regarding orders and how commissions are calculated. There is very limited ability to choose what will be advertised on the site and many products are unrelated.
Thank you for raising this. We understand the multiple-merchant experience can be confusing for customers. A few clarifications that might help: "Sold by" badges now appear on product pages, and customers receive separate order confirmations from each brand. You can see which merchant fulfilled each order in your order details to help route customer service inquiries. We're continuously working to improve the checkout experience. Recommendations AI-powered and will change depending on the placement and search query. We encourage you to exclude competitors and otherwise the algorithm will source the best products for the customer in the moment.

I need a way to suppress product network from certain collections and it seems to be an all or nothing approach.
Thank you for this feedback. You're correct that collection-level control isn't available yet, but we hear you, this would be valuable. In the meantime, you can choose which placement types to use (collection pages, product pages, thank you page, order status page). If collection pages aren't working for your store layout, try disabling that placement and using one of the other placements such as, search, email, post-purchase placements instead. We appreciate you sharing what would make this more useful.

Totally confuses customers and employees alike.
Thank you for this feedback. We'd like to understand what's causing confusion so we can help. Are customers unclear about the multi-merchant checkout experience, or is your team having trouble managing the orders? A few things that might help: "Sold by" badges now appear on product pages to show when products come from other merchants, and you can see which merchant fulfilled each order in your order details to help route customer questions. If you're open to sharing more details about what's confusing, please reach out through the app's support channel. We want to make this work better for both you and your customers.

Products will not add to cart, random brands start appearing and it takes way too much time to keep excluding individual brands, brands I was VERY excited about having starting disappearing without reason....Unfortunately, customer service in the app was not any help when I tried to resolve the issue. I had high hopes for this app but will be removing it from my store.
Thank you for sharing this, and we're sorry the app didn't work as expected. The issues you described, products not adding to cart and brands disappearing, shouldn't happen, and we'd like to investigate. If you're open to it, please reach out through the app's support channel so we can look into what went wrong. If you're looking for a more curated approach where you control which brands appear, Shopify Collective might be a better fit for your store.

1) Shoppers seem reluctant to but after that are taken off the site that are on and directed to another store. Reduces trust in the store they intend to shop on initially. 2) crowds up the category pages and causes products we sell ourselves to be pushed below the fold and thus less visible. 3) We noticed very few sales from the Product Network. 4) May be more beneficial of on the list page there is a button labeled something like "More elections from patterning vendors" so customers can go to a separate page if they want what we don't have and get it elsewhere in the network. 5) May consider deleting this app.
Thank you for the detailed feedback. You're right that the on-site placement on collection pages may not work for every store. A few updates since you tried the app: shoppers now stay on your site for the entire experience, and you can control where recommendations appear by choosing the placements that work best for your store. We'd suggest trying the thank you page or order status page placements instead, these keep your collection pages focused on your own products while still offering personalized recommendations after checkout. We're also working on more placement options, so stay tuned.

The amount of work you need to put in blocking Swimwear showing up with Vitamin C search .. Why?
Thank you for this feedback. Swimwear showing up in a Vitamin C search shouldn't happen—our search recommendations are designed to only show products related to the search query itself. This sounds like something went wrong. We'd like to investigate what caused this. If you're still experiencing this issue, please reach out through the app's support channel with details about when you saw this, and we'll look into it. We appreciate you reporting this.

Watch out, resellers who add your products to their website the system will list back onto your website with a higher price. This means you pay double commission and you aren't able to stop this from happening. They have no fix for it. Who wants to pay twice to try and get your products sold when you are the original seller?
Thanks for flagging this, and sorry you had to deal with that. We've identified the source of the issue and made some changes to prevent this from happening. So, going forward you shouldn't experience this problem again should you decide to give the Product Network another try.

You have to manually list all product category exclusions that you do not want shown when it should be the other way around. That is dozens or hundreds of manual selections through a menu that takes a several seconds to navigate and load each one if you want to keep recommendations relevant to your orders.
Thank you for this feedback. We understand that excluding dozens of categories one by one can be frustrating. The app is designed to show relevant recommendations to each shopper rather than a fixed catalog, which is why it uses an exclusion model. If you're looking to curate a specific set of brands for your store, Shopify Collective lets you handpick exactly which brands to feature. We hear your feedback on the exclusion workflow and will pass it along to the team.

Seems like a decent idea, but the way its implemented is terrible. If I only want to include certain brands or products you have to "exclude" everything else. My store is for household pets, so many categories won't apply, but those categories have sub-categories and this app will make you go through each one to "exclude" them. No way I'm going to sit here and do all of that. The option should be asking who I want to include
Thank you for this feedback. Let me clarify how the app works, as it might help address your concern. On collection pages, the AI only recommends products similar to what you're already selling in that collection, so if you sell pet products, you shouldn't be seeing random unrelated categories. You can click the preview button in the app to see what recommendations could actually appear before going live. The wider product assortment only shows up on post-purchase placements (thank you page and order status page), where the goal is to help customers discover what to buy next after they complete their order. If you're seeing unrelated categories on your collection pages, something isn't working as intended. We'd recommend checking the preview first, and if it's still showing products that don't fit your pet store, please reach out through the app's support channel so we can investigate. We appreciate you sharing this experience.
