We had a highly complex custom application built for us, based on the Product Options platform. Let me be the first to tell you, there is a LOT more than meets the eye with this app, and the sky is virtually the limit. Our custom app has roughly 30 configurable steps, a metric ton of conditional logic, and loads of special rules. The app runs quick and flawlessly which is quite impressive. The folks at Bold Apps (Heman, Calin, Jeff, and the crew) were very professional and easy to work with.
