I have try some bundles apps, but it is difficult to set combo with discount and free gift. I found rapi apps useful and easy to use to set up bundles, upsales, free gift to increase sales.

I have been using this for my site ( www.backtorootsorganicstore.com/ ) since couple of days. Configuring is damm easy and it works too :-) . Yet to try paid subscription though.
