These guys really do go above and beyond to get the best for their customers. They’ve customised fields and rules as we needed to safely run our business and wow…very very good

We use REAL ID for 3 of our website properties. For two sites, we use the App to control the sale of regulated goods. For the third, we use it to reduce credit card fraud (e.g. for first-time customers whose billing & shipping does not match). For the regulated goods, the app is incredibly effective and has saved us a tremendous amount of time in employee-customer communication, record storage and so on. It has also eliminated a lot pushback from customers! We used to have trouble asking for ID's by email, but now we rarely if ever have customers question the legitimacy of the process. The App has lots of options and Support or Developer feedback is always fast and helpful. In short, I definitely recommend REAL ID to cut time and costs by dramatically reducing credit card fraud or to easily perform legal requirements having to do with regulated goods. As I say, we are now 3 websites strong with it. Thanks REAL ID team!

Real ID is just perfect! This app functions flawlessly and has significantly enhanced the security of all my transactions. It has greatly reduced disputes and ensured the identity of my customers. Highly recommend it to anyone looking to add an extra layer of security to their business.

We have tried several apps for verifying users in our store and we are confident we chose the right one when going for Real ID. The verification process is really smooth for the users and integrates perfectly with Shopify. More importantly, the Customer Service team is fast and effective in clearing out any doubt we have had and helping us with the set up. I would recommend it 100%

Such an amazing app to help with Fraud. I use this when I have a High/Medium Risk of fraud to verify my customers. I 100% recommend it, and the customer service from Dylan has been so great from the start. I wish there was a better option for smaller businesses like mine, like a pay as you go option per check or something similar. Maybe in the future! :)

Real ID has really streamlined our old manual process of verifying customer ID's on potential fraud alerts on orders for our Multiple Shopify E-Commerce Stores. It has greatly reduced staffing demands and handle times for our E-Commerce team and has greatly improved our customers satisfaction with the ID verification process. The installation and integration was seamless and simple and launching was a walk in the park with the partnership and support of Dylan Pierce and the rest of the Real ID team. I did 5 test on myself, all non working properly, then ask a customer to do 1, for my shame did not work too. Then finally work partially but not with the head turning. They told me I would not be charged BUT got charged €15.75 + $17.08 to be charged on next month for an app that NEVER WORKED 100% and only 1 time work 90% but did not catch the face turning. The app is not done, need a lot more of testing.
Hi, I'm sorry you had so many issues, including with Shopify's billing system. I definitely understand the frustration when it comes to refunds, there are certain limitations that I cannot control either. For context, Shopify does not allow Partners to cancel charges before they are finalized in an invoice and charged to your card. Again, we cannot issue refunds during same time period period the charge is counted in, or even cancel the charges. I know that sounds unfair, and we agree it is, but it outside of our control. On April 14th, you signed up for a paid plan: https://share.cleanshot.com/s4PqQfT3 Three days later on Monday April 17th we received your email that you'd like a refund for paid checks you used for testing. We cannot cancel or refund charges in the same billing period - and we issued a credit for all ID checks. Issuing an app credit is the only option we have at this time for ID checks in the same period. Now that the bill has been finalized (May 4th), we can offer a refund for these test checks. You should see a refund shortly. I'll follow up in a few days to make sure you have received your money. Some customers do have issues understanding the prompts, we aim to make this experience as seamless as possible and user friendly as possible. Well received by our customers and easy for staff to verify if customers have completed ID check before shipping. Their support team was very helpful in creating code to work with our varied delivery methods. The online age verification was installed quickly and customizations were completed within a day or two.

App does exactly what we need it to. Functionality is simple and integrates really easily into our existing Shopify store. Settings and options are customizable to a point where we could create the exact flow and wording we wanting for the verification flow from start to finish. Absolutely the only app I'd need for this kind of service. On top of this, customer service is incredible. Dylan has been responsive and helpful every step of the way. I've never had this kind of experience with an application and developer in my years of being on this platform. I could not recommend this app more.

The app does everything it says it does and works very well. Helped reduce our fraud to zero. Dylan has been the greatest help with any questions or issues we may be having. Would highly recommend this app if you need a ID verification tool or simply to reduce fraud from different billing and ship to addresses

App-idea is good, and maybe very useful in US or other countries. But it does not work with german passes and also not with german driver-licences. - A better personalisation and translation for the customer frontend would be helpful, as you cannot translate the User interface into another language. People must speak english. Maybe we are coming back in future after the app is more mature.
Hi, Thank you so much for the helpful feedback - yes multi-lingual support for Spanish, German & French is on our roadmap. We're in the middle of making big changes to the frontend ID verification flow to support this as well as make it even more intuitive for your customers. The German Licenses & Passports support should be working however, we're investigating if the algorithm is having issues recognizing those and I'll update this comment when we learn more. Dylan, Is absolutely amazing....I will have very limited time and trying to make a deadline and he has always been very quick to resolve and respond. He makes sure that he handles it on the spot and doesn't provide :homework: for me to resolve on my own. He is extremely hands on and professional...great software to meet our industries requirements. Would highly recommend to anyone.

This is a very useful app with an owner that will take your calls and figure stuff out with you! I used it to check ID on checkout for certain products and it worked very well. I cannot wait to see what is to come.
