I did 5 test on myself, all non working properly, then ask a customer to do 1, for my shame did not work too. Then finally work partially but not with the head turning. They told me I would not be charged BUT got charged €15.75 + $17.08 to be charged on next month for an app that NEVER WORKED 100% and only 1 time work 90% but did not catch the face turning. The app is not done, need a lot more of testing.

Hi, I'm sorry you had so many issues, including with Shopify's billing system. I definitely understand the frustration when it comes to refunds, there are certain limitations that I cannot control either. For context, Shopify does not allow Partners to cancel charges before they are finalized in an invoice and charged to your card. Again, we cannot issue refunds during same time period period the charge is counted in, or even cancel the charges. I know that sounds unfair, and we agree it is, but it outside of our control. On April 14th, you signed up for a paid plan: https://share.cleanshot.com/s4PqQfT3 Three days later on Monday April 17th we received your email that you'd like a refund for paid checks you used for testing. We cannot cancel or refund charges in the same billing period - and we issued a credit for all ID checks. Issuing an app credit is the only option we have at this time for ID checks in the same period. Now that the bill has been finalized (May 4th), we can offer a refund for these test checks. You should see a refund shortly. I'll follow up in a few days to make sure you have received your money. Some customers do have issues understanding the prompts, we aim to make this experience as seamless as possible and user friendly as possible. Well received by our customers and easy for staff to verify if customers have completed ID check before shipping. Their support team was very helpful in creating code to work with our varied delivery methods. The online age verification was installed quickly and customizations were completed within a day or two.

App does exactly what we need it to. Functionality is simple and integrates really easily into our existing Shopify store. Settings and options are customizable to a point where we could create the exact flow and wording we wanting for the verification flow from start to finish. Absolutely the only app I'd need for this kind of service. On top of this, customer service is incredible. Dylan has been responsive and helpful every step of the way. I've never had this kind of experience with an application and developer in my years of being on this platform. I could not recommend this app more.

The app does everything it says it does and works very well. Helped reduce our fraud to zero. Dylan has been the greatest help with any questions or issues we may be having. Would highly recommend this app if you need a ID verification tool or simply to reduce fraud from different billing and ship to addresses

Dylan really did an amazing job for our store. We have automated 18+ id checks through a specific channel that was not out of the box. Dylan and his team were able to help and satisfy our requirements. This app is working like butter now! Thanks a bunch Dylan!

Dylan, Is absolutely amazing....I will have very limited time and trying to make a deadline and he has always been very quick to resolve and respond. He makes sure that he handles it on the spot and doesn't provide :homework: for me to resolve on my own. He is extremely hands on and professional...great software to meet our industries requirements. Would highly recommend to anyone.

This is a very useful app with an owner that will take your calls and figure stuff out with you! I used it to check ID on checkout for certain products and it worked very well. I cannot wait to see what is to come.

This app has been a life savor when it comes to having a solid and working ability to check customer IDs. Not only does the app work flawlessly, the support from the app is exceptional - nearly always available to help and the updates and custom requests are constantly fulfilled. It does what it claims. But some of my customers suspected emails sent by the app are phishing. Please add the settings to send email from our domain by adding SPF records or allow us to integrate our own email sending solutions such as Sendgrid/Mailgun. Update 2021 Oct 5: I am glad the dev has added the option of sending emails by shop domain. This is a clear improvement. So I have revised the star rating to 4. I am looking forward to more versatile pricing plans such as bulk discount when we buy more credits.

Just an update, you can now use your own email address for ID check notifications to your customers. In the Settings section of Real ID, under the Notifications tab you'll find this new feature. You just need to verify your ownership of the email address with a link your inbox, then we can start sending ID checks on behalf of your email address. Your customers will see the ID check is directly related to their order and will help build trust with the process. I hope this helps with your concern! As an early adopter, this app became a vital part of our shopify store. Unfortunately, Dylan has subsequently increased the pricing by over 100% which makes the product entirely unviable for a low margin business like ours. If you can afford the prices (or double the current advertised price going off past behaviour) then sure, this is a great solution. Otherwise, back to search the shopify app store for an alternative.

Hi Chris, I'm sorry, but unfortunately our costs have increased and we can no longer offer you an extension on the original price. We would love to have you as a customer and are happy to keep compliance as easy and frictionless for you and your customers - however our costs have changed and we'd have to increase prices since January of last year. We have not canceled your subscription and will continue to support it, even though we're losing money. But we cannot increase your monthly cap at the current terms. I'm sorry, I wish we could extend your monthly cap at the same pricing it's just not feasible for our business. Again our offer still stands and we wish you the best. Thanks, Dylan

We use this app to help prevent fraudulent transactions by verifying the information provided with the information the customer provides checking out. There were some issues in the beginning, but like all new apps, features were added to help fix the issues. There are some bugs, but as the app grows, it will be ironed out. The developer is very communicative and responds quickly and does everything they can to solve it. He listens to suggestions and makes them a reality. This is a must have, as the other verification apps only take E-Mail, or don't have automation available to make the process easier. This is a necessity if you need to verify customers info or help to prevent fraudulent transactions.
