Shopify Search & Discovery

The search & Discovery app is pretty easy to set up and navigate. User friendly making it easy to set up the navigation and filtering options. I like the product recommendation segment that allows you to select products as recommended add on. The reporting/analytics is also a great feature allowing you to adjust the recommendation options as needed.

This app is straightforward to set up and use. Easily add additional product recommendations to product pages.

Great app a total workhorse. Just do not change your conditions or you have to start all over again. Titles are fine tho!

I wrote a review earlier with a rating of 3 because I had thought the app to be too limited. However, I came back to fix that rating to a five. This app. is a lot better than I had originally thought. The only pointer I would give to anyone who is having issues is; to make sure that your product types are filled out, color, sizes, etc. on your end. Once you do that, this app. will work smoothly like butter!

Superb app for fine-tuning search results and directing customers to the right products. Requires a little work to setup various filters and boosts, but once they are in place search results on our store are significantly more helpful. However, one feature request would be the ability to boost blog posts. *EDIT: We were able to achieve a blog post boost by creating a synonym group focused on the blog post title.

Hello, the app has a big disadvantage. It supports the metafields for filtering (very good). But only in the native language. If you change the language within the online shop the filters are shown still in the native language. All metafields has been translated in all languages by an additional app. Bad Bad Bad. When will you make the filtering international?

Downloaded the app simple set up can't wait to see how it will help my customers find their product with ease.

A very nice app, they have solved a lot of their previous problems. Also you can now edit fields via bulk edit apps. Would appreciate for design options for the filters view

I appreciate your team quickly finding and correcting this bug! ** Replying to Shopify Response: (Thank you for your feedback! Metafield definitions have a “Limit to preset choices” feature, where you can predefine which values the metafield can accept and sort them manually using drag and drop. If you use that metafield as a filter, Shopify will apply your “preset choices” ordering to the filter values on your storefront. Head over to your shop settings, and look under “Custom data”, that's where you manage all metafield definitions. Find your “Size” metafield definition, check the box “Limit to preset choices” under “Rules”, and set all your Size values there in the order that you want them to appear on your storefront, including the ones that use a “-” or “/”.) -- I already tried this before making this review. It does not work as your described. I even checked again, after reading your response. This only sorts it when choosing a metafield value for a product, it does not manually sort it in the Shopify Search & Discovery app. Maybe I am missing something? ** -- So far, this app works great, especially for free. But, please add the ability to sort metafield values within the filter section manually. We have a "size" metafield and want it to sort from smallest to largest ascending. It is automatically sorting it by value, but if there is a "-" or "/" for fractions it does not sort correctly. Not sure if it would sort correctly if we used decimal values instead of fractions, but we want to display them as fractions. Manual sorting would be great.

It's a really good app. Allowing for synonyms is a huge plus and we even get insights into what customers are searching for in our store. Not really sure what they would need to improve on honestly. Overall, 10 out of 10 :)
