Shopify Search & Discovery

Did a lot of work to be able to move to metafield-tags only to be stopped by the 25-limit tag. Shopify supports shrugs and sends you to pay for a third party app. The ususal "Not our problem"-attitude.

Quiero usarla, para definir mejor las búsquedas de mis clientes y por alguna razón esta INACTIVA!! sin fecha de relanzamiento? por que inactivarla para hacerle cambios? por que no hacer los cambios solo en vista de su servidor y luego actualizar? lleva bastante tiempo inactiva...

why disable core functionality? synonym groups just randomly got dropped.

super confusing in Chinese version the translation is incorrect

Suddenly so much worse than before. It always displays a 1000 products that are completely unrelated to any search terms. Before I could search a specific product model and it only shows those, or search a single SKU it would show only that. Now it is completely useless for us and customers.

今までタイトルに入力している単語で検索できていたのに、完全一致でないとヒットしなくなりました。とても不便です。（例）wd650でヒットしていたのにｍ、wd650drまで入力しなければなりません。どういう仕組みでヒットされるようになっているのか不明です・・・。 様々なアップデートはありがたいです、旧な変更は困ってしまいます。とても使いにくくなりました。

The 25-filter limit feels like a bait-and-switch. Shopify promotes a highly customizable commerce platform, but once you begin building a sophisticated storefront, you quickly discover an arbitrary limit that forces many merchants to compromise their user experience or pay for third-party solutions.

si empezo a estar mal, antes con solo tres caracteres me salía las recomendaciones , de un un mes para debo literalmente escribirlo completo

If we are searching the product using SKU its not showing accurate result like olden times. If you can fix this immediately it will be helpful

Results became worse. BEWARE! Was told by Shopify to add part numbers and SKU in to title.... AI ruined this app

da giugno l'app è stata aggiornata e non funziona più. impossibile cercare prodotti per SKU o Barcode. cerchi "abito giallo" e compaiono tutti gli abiti indipendentemente dal colore.

As of June 2026, this app is totally useless, as it will not look at your product description for keywords. Shopify supports solution is to add all your keywords to the title. A search app that only searches product title is not only worthless, but totally asinine. We've used this app for as long as we've been on Shopify and now have to delete it and find a different solution. Talk about majorly disruptive and costly. Do better Shopify!

Search sucks - why the hell can I not search by SKU, partial name, Manufacturer. Doesn't work

Works fine until June 2026, suddenly no longer able to search products by SKU. No support at all. Need to uninstall.

Fro a while this has been a core app in our toolbox. We've used it for a few years with minimal issues (aside from a decent learning curve). Recently though, my customers can not literally search for product. THIS IS THE MAIN FUNCTION!! Predictive search works, but actually searching via a keyword, SKU, barcode, or vendor provides broken results that will show few to no products. Seriously, STOP USING AI TO CODE - you guys are going to spend more on fixing all your broken garbage than you would gain by being "productive". Get it together shopify!

It's absolutely awful, ginormous, backward change when the latest downgrades installed. It is no longer possible to search products by SKU. Are there any humans on the team? Or is it all run and programmed by Artificial Idiots now?
