Customize filters are working well but we can't translate 'Product Type' values displayed on Collection page, with Shopify "Translate & Adapt" app.

Thanks for your review. I'm happy to share that the product team just launched filter translation support. More details here: https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/online-store/search-and-discovery/filters#filter-translations. However, "product type" isn't yet a product field that can be translated, so you could work around that issue by using product metafield values instead

This app certainly does what it says on the box. I am a simple person and like my solutions simple. I am more than happy to change my requirements to suit the technical implementation. Rather not bend and break things. It also makes it all easy to manage and it's a Shopify app. The filtering here works perfectly and I am sure Shopify are going to continue development on this. Not sure why this is rated so low.

The idea of using meta-tags instead of actual tags is ridiculous. We’ve been using “tags” this whole time and now you guys changed it and it’s a huge step back for a lot of us And ridiculously time-consuming for a lot of us that have to make our products and we don’t have time to sit here and do the same thing twice. What upsets me the most is that I literally bought a theme years ago specifically for its filtering and now it doesn’t even work anymore due to this update. As someone who makes & sells clothing I have to add a color variant to each item for it to filter out in colors even if I only sell one color of that product. Huge thumbs down, absolute waste of time and it’s frustrating that I can’t even get filters to work in my online store like they used to without spending hours redoing some thing I already did.

A+++, my #1 favorite, most valued app...and the fact that its FREE!? I love the functionality & added features this app provides. I'm so happy to see whatever glitch / update that disallowed control over auto-generated recommendations has not only been fixed, but improved it seems at first glance.

Thank you for your review. The feature you are referring to is still in the app. It is called “Hide auto-generated recommendations” and is a checkbox at the bottom of the “Edit product recommendations” screen.

This has the making of a good app but there are still bugs (on Dawn 2.0 and there is no Complementary Product Block to use that feature) and capabilities (e.g., grouping colors into rainbow) that would be extremely useful

This has been a blessing to put multiple things together. We're a new start up and don't need the complications that involve getting products from other vendors or drop shipping. We just need to say "X pairs well with Y and Z" and this does that perfectly for our basic needs. I'm busy editing all of my products to use this feature.

Basic, but useful. They MUST release a feature to to keyword redirects so you can redirect search terms to specific pages (eg returns etc)

Hi, thank you for your feedback. Predictive search supports different resource types, including pages and articles, and allows your users to navigate to specific pages from the suggestions instead of to the search result page.

I use this app mainly for product recommendations and will base my review on that. It‘s great that Shopify has added a product recommendation API and is actively developing it. It recently updated the feature to include complementary products. Having a built-in product recommendation feature is really valuable and I’m using it quite a bit. However, the way you interact with the product recommendations is pretty time consuming. My biggest problem at the moment is the pagination and the fact that when you browse to a product already listed and click on it to edit, once you finish the pagination is reset to page 1 so I need to browse again to get to the same group of products I was working with. Having a filter on the existing products would help a lot here and also persisting the filter or the pagination. Also, I add the same recommendations to a lot of products so having a way to add/edit in bulk would be extremely helpful to me. The Product Recommendation feature/API would get a 5-star review from me but unfortunately this app has its shortcomings.

It is stupid that the filter is not translated and also it can not filter tag which is the most important thing.

It's good that shopify finally allows for product selection on the product recommendations which is an important feature. Would be even better if - We can select number of products to be shown - Scrollable options like carousel

Was all working fine. This morning (36 hours after switching theme to a 2.0 one and deleting my old Filter and Search app) 80% of the filters don't show or work anymore. What is going on? This app need sorting ASAP ***Update*** Following a stressful morning of it not working - a live chat to the very helpful Shane got things rolling and it was all sorted by mide afternoon. Hopefully will be more stable going forward!

This app is just what we needed. We find that many customers do the majority of their browsing going directly through the related items rather than navigating the entire site. Now people are spending a lot more time browsing uninterrupted, and we're able to show far more relevant things (like things with a similar ingredient list)... and not things that seem completely random because other people have bought them together. Not being able to customize related items was one of my biggest peeves about Shopify, second only to a lack of one-page checkout. The synonyms didn't seem to work when I first installed it, but all good now. People make typos or misspell things and come up empty-handed. Previously I would sprinkle some common misspellings in descriptions or switch between using a hyphen or not, so people would always be able to find something. Eww. Problem solved. :) I can't speak to the filter settings - we use tag filters, so they're not relevant for us. Only complaint is that I can't seem to sort the products that I've added related items to. It would be nice to be able to search or list alphabetical. It's a real pain to browse page after page to track something down if I want to update it.

There have been no changes to your previous setting, and your store’s performance will not be impacted by the installation of the app. For filters to display on your Storefront, your theme needs to support the feature.

Hi, I am having trouble with this new app because it without asking for the permissions, substitute the previous I have chosen to manage the filters that are no more active on my Shopify store. Now I could also try to use this new free app, but I wouyld like to have access to the filter management control panel as in the previous app. Could you please send me some instruction to do it and reactivate the filters or ctreate new one? Lastly, can this app work with Shopify prestige theme? Thank you in advance
