Staff refuse a refund even though their app doesn't function on my store utterly against the law in Australia!

I bought 3 sections from this app because their FAQ clearly says the sections work with all Shopify themes and require no coding skills. Unfortunately, that turned out to be false. • Out of 3 sections, only one worked. • The testimonial section (#28) didn’t display at all. When I contacted support, they admitted it was a conflict with my theme and offered me an exchange, but I don’t want an exchange — I expected it to work as advertised. • The product page videos section couldn’t even be added to my product page. Support told me to follow instructions for “Shopify 1.0” which required manual coding (exactly what they promised wasn’t necessary). Even after following those steps, it still didn’t work. • The third section doesn’t look like the demo they show on their store. I contacted support multiple times asking for a refund but got no reply. Overall, very disappointing experience. The product did not match the claims, and the lack of response makes it worse.
headers doesnt work, i can't apply the cart drawner, and my header change in eatch page
I installed the Bundles #2 app, but it doesn't work. The goal is for the product to appear in the shopping cart when I add it. However, it won't. I need help ASAP, please.
Many of the app are not comparable with Horizon Theme and they don't give you the choice to test before buying or to get a refund.
It never works like its displayed, you will need custom coding for it to work or look anything like its displayed on the app preview, very bad and rude customer service, its will take days of back and forth for it to even work properly on site. typical app, over promise and under deliver.
Free section are not editable worst experience
I heard such great things ab section.store so I bought a bunch of sections that should be compatible with my store and half of them are glitchy/ broken/dont show up on the page. The kicker is the support team is non existent. After trying to reach out to them over 5 times via email and contact form for the last 2 weeks to get assistance and nothing but crickets. Worst customer support ive ever experienced.
These idiots thought it was ok turn off apps in my store without discussing with me when granted collaborator access to "Fix" their script that wasn't working. They turned off TRIPLE WHALE, shopify forms and my smart search bar. They thought their garbage app was more important triple whale or the search bar on my website or anything else. Blaming "third party apps" for their trash not working. Triple whale is like god and Sections is less then nothing. A crumb next to an ant hill. I can't believe they turned off my apps. This is completely unacceptable. Do not ever use this app. I REPEAT. DO NOT EVER USE THIS APP. They should lose collaborator privileges forever. Garbage. Trash.
Doesn't even work
I rarely leave reviews, but this experience was beyond frustrating. I purchased a section from this app expecting it to work out of the box—it didn’t. I followed every instruction provided, but the section simply didn’t function. When I reached out to support, instead of helping, they brushed me off and told me to "just follow the instructions"—which I had already done. No real support, no troubleshooting, no willingness to take responsibility. Absolutely unacceptable. This app doesn’t deserve even one star. Do not waste your money or time. There are far better apps out there with support that actually helps you when something goes wrong.
I spend a lot of money optimizing my store speed and cleaning up destructive, irrelevant code. This app will give you custom sections that will weigh your store down and cause you to pay even more. This was not worth it at all. I want a refund for the sections I purchased...
The section store theme section is not working with newer updated themes. The Review Section I purchased can only be placed in the header section - which isn't helpful. I reached out to the seller for a refund, but he kept dodging it suggesting that I am using an outdated theme, which I am not. Finally giving up on it and found a more affordable, better, functional app with good support team.
So, I downloaded this app and decided to use it on my store for some sections. Prior to adding the sections, I spent hundreds with a developer to speed up my store and my store had been the fastest it’s ever been. Since then, I’ve compressed all my images and been super selected with the apps I’ve downloaded to not hinder my speed. I’m not a developer by nature but I followed the developer's recommendations. So I trusted this app’s claims that it would not slow down my store, unfortunately it did. My store slowed down significantly! My store speed went from a 2.42 second load time to close to 8 seconds! I reached out to the developers of this app to tell them this, I was requesting an exchange because I thought a text based section would be better since the scrolling collections sections was the issue and basically told they can’t do anything about it and it’s not their app. I was also told to reach out to a Shopify experts to help with this matter. Be careful with this app and the sections.
Ich habe eine Comparison-App gekauft, die nicht für mobile Geräte optimiert ist. In den 90ern wäre das vielleicht noch akzeptabel gewesen – heute aber völlig wertlos da mittlerweile die Mehrheit ein Handy hat . Echt schade!
Great sections but they don't have a live chat and say they respond to queries within 24 hours, but it's been 5 days since I've asked for some assistance with formatting issues on a section I purchased and I haven't had any help. Very frustrating.
Habe mir was ausgesucht - kostet 9$. Drücke auf kaufen - Umleitung zu Shopify - Preis = 29$. Abzocke von Shopify oder in der App absichtliche Falschaussagen?
Hi there, The price is $9. The issue is because the name of the section is 'Product addons #2' and Shopify does not put a space between the name of the section and the price so it looks like Proudct addons #2$9 I assure you it's only $9 🙌
The section is not working as it should and the answer that I got from customer support was “we’ve got more important customers, su go ahead and resolve the problem yourself “

Web Devs here. Half of the sections (the embeded ones) are not working, and the support is the worst. They reply in 1-2 days with unrelevant things, they do not solve the problem. They do not care at all. You just loose 9$ every time you purchase one, with the luck that it will maybe work.
