Horribly slow, sometimes doesn't load. Too bad shopify didn't mention you can't enter decimals into their program until AFTER we transferred entire grocery store. Maybe they've never been in a grocery store and didn't realize a good portion of food is weighed at register. Adds about 5 minutes per customer to ring up. We are now just using calculators at the register and ringing up as misc. Don't bother with this one.

Hi there, Sorry to hear this has been your experience - that’s certainly not how the app is intended to be used. Regarding performance, adding multiple minutes per customer is not typical behavior we see across stores using the app. We weren’t able to find any recent support tickets from your team, but we’re happy to take a look at what’s going on in your specific setup if you email us a video of what you're experiencing at [email protected].

Paying $25/month for very little. This is designed optimally for wholefood stores and similar. The outlay cost of $25 MINIMUM a month is ludicrous. At best, this app takes 5 minutes to load on your POS and then literally slows down every transaction to a crawl.

Hi SW Coast Refills, we're sorry you had the experience you did with our app. We checked and our team never received a support ticket from you, and your account also never accepted our app's billing charge after you installed it most recently in Jan 2025 so you were never billed this year, and this is also why the app may not have loaded correctly for you when you tried it. Paying $20/month for absolutely nothing. On it's best day, the Sell by Weight App will take 5 minutes to load on your POS and slow you down. On it's worst day, it shows a blank screen or opens to the 'set up' screen. We have found it to be incredibly frustrating and now it doesn't work at all. We have not been able to use it since last week when they "updated it" and seemingly broke it. We opened a support case which hopefully gets resolved soon, as we are paying for this service.

We're sorry for the frustration you experienced with our app - the issues you mentioned in your review were unfortunately caused by Shopify and outside of our control as a third party developer, but our new tile should load noticeably more quickly.
