I have just got a information that due to technical issue, they ask for my yearly payment one more time even that I already have paid - then this company loose all my confident for me to add a new payment - I don't know if it fraud or not.... I am waiting for a feedback if I will uninstall the app and ask for refunding of my already paid "yearly" fee .... please be aware.... my subscription is for renew in 2027.
We sincerely apologize for the confusion. This is NOT fraud - we experienced a technical issue that affected some subscriptions. Your existing paid plan is still there and not lost. When you resubscribe to reactivate it, our system automatically refunds your previous subscription as app credits, so you won't pay anything extra - it's essentially the same and nothing has changed. We've sent detailed clarification to your email and take full responsibility for this technical error.

Ran it once I installed it to optimze my store SEO. Before I ran it , I had minor issues in search console and SEMRUSH nothing major. After I started the "Optimization" I had 113 critical issues ... in other words the app did exactly the opposite .. it pretty much f#+ed up my site. that was a great investment.. thanks again ! now I have to hire a specialist for a lot of money to fix the issues the app created ... I'm thrilled, So .. if you want to destroy your store . this app is a great way of doing it.
Hi there, I'm the owner of SEO king. SEM Rush is absolutely wrong in what it’s telling you. And the reports it generates are not the ground truth. They can be outdated and wrong. You have to go look at the site and verify. When we verified, there were no such issues found. Shopify has recently blocked SEM Rush, which would also explain why its reports are wrong. We will gladly discuss anything with Shopify. I have 10 years experience with Shopify SEO, I think I know what I’m talking about. We would appreciate the removal of the review since there is no proof of any such issues caused by SEO King. Best regards.

This application inserts ads into your robots file. # managed by SEO King I think it should be warned, not done quietly .
Hi, this appears to be a misunderstanding. The "# managed by SEO King" text is a technical comment in your robots.txt file (only visible to search engines and admins) that marks our SEO work, not an advertisement. We've sent you an email with full clarification regarding this.

*UPDATE*****And these type of responses are why I’m happy I didn’t actually get to pay as I was about to. And fyi I was not using since 2018 and was actually about to look at purchasing, the one star was an accident, but I think I’ll leave it now. Pay attention customers, this is the company that wants your money. This is the way NOT to do customer service. If your app worked you’d have had a paying customer. Good luck there, stellar way to respond to a review. * Hmm I just tried using again after an update and none of the free features work anymore. I understand they need to get paid for their work, but a heads up would have been great. I was never sure it was helping our site or not as I never saw any significant change in our traffic. But I did like the water marking and alt text. Back to doing it by hand again I guess.
Thank you for your review. The problem could have been solved by simply using the free watermark tool in the product photo editor section. The Admin options are now member-only features. I hope you have a nice day.

The compression on my photos made them smaller and random sizes. Not very happy about this, also their support says they get back in a few days?????
Hi we provide support within 24 hours. Usually, within a few hours maximum, depending on time zone differences. We have addressed this with you, and you had selected an incorrect resize setting. You should select our Square Fill setting that would make your photos all square and properly aligned. This is an easy fix, you just need to change the setting and press Update All. Can you please update this review? Thank you

The app forced me to rate 5 stars while I was still trying figure out how it works. It caused problems on my website. The photos always disappeared even though I tried to fix them, at least twice, it took me a whole day or more. I contacted the support team. They was running something (that they said it will fix the problem). After their process finished, I checked my website, all the logos I added disappeared, and some photos still not showing up. I contacted the support team again. But after he knows that I'm using the free version, he said there's no support , he said "he has to go back to work" and "good luck with the rest", then he went away leaving me with my questions. That's so irresponsible and so rude , because the problem I'm facing now is caused by the process he was running on his end. Now even though I want to uninstall the app, I have to restore all of my photos, one by one.

FACT REMAINS!!! THIS WAS NOT UNINSTALLED IN THE "MIDDLE" OF A BILLING CYCLE!! THIS APP WAS INSTALLED BY US AND EVERYTHING WAS FINE AND WE WERE BILLED ACCORDINGLY EACH MONTH, BUT WHEN IT CAME TO UNINSTALLING THE APP ON THE 1ST OF FEBRUARY, THEY STILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND REFUSE TO REFUND!! BILLING CYCLE RUNS FROM THE 22ND TO THE 21ST OF EACH MONTH (DO THE MATH!!) I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND "PAYING" FOR THIS APP BECAUSE WHEN IT COMES TO SUPPORT AND RESPONSE THEY ARE RUDE IN THE FIRST PLACE AND SECONDLY REFUSE TO REFUND!! JUST A WARNING TO FUTURE USERS!!
Hi, when you uninstall the app in the middle of a billing cycle you will receive a final bill for the last billing cycle. This is normal practice. When our customers approach us via Live Chat with civility and dignity, we can usually make some exceptions :)

Useless! Instead of cropping the picture with the image of your product in the middle, it leave a cheap looking border on either side of the image. Paid $4.99 to get them like that, then uninstalled it and did them properly myself. No refund either

Not worth it. We paid for the APP and then it stopped working. If you want to return the images back to the way they were before, you will need to do it one by one NOT in bulk. Their servers are really slow. Paid for nothing and no refund.

Not only didn't this app work correctly on every image, it DELETED some of our product images. Restoring the changes that were made in hopes that our files are put back without having to manually crawl through our website to see where there are errors. Really hope Shopify considers cleaning out apps like this from their store.
