*UPDATE* The team was able to add the text wrapping feature, and address a few other formatting issues as well. There are some other formatting issues (the ability to edit the size of images) that still need to be resolved before we can actually make use of the app, but I'm glad to see that they're actively listening to feedback and implementing changes and features to meet the formatting capabilities of the native blog editor. The overall features of this app are very useful and I was really excited about having everything all in one place with SEO metrics etc. Unfortunately the app requires you to use their blog builder which lacks some of the basic formatting features in the native Shopify blog, and honestly basic formatting on just about any other platform. Most notably major content sections *must* stack vertically, and text wrapping isn't available. There is a content block that allows an image with text, but it splits the image and text sections evenly and squishes text content if it's larger than the image. Also, if you do decide to get this app, be sure to test it on a copy of any of your blogs that already exist as the coding it uses is not removed if you uninstall the app. I had to rebuild one of my blogs from the ground up after uninstalling the app by copying over the raw blog content into a new Shopify blog, formatting it in Shopify, then copying the code *back* into the original blog post to get it back to normal. Overall I do think this App is really useful if you don't have major aesthetic preferences, and if you can work within the confines of their formatting options. Until the app can meet or exceed basic formatting/design capabilities that have been standard since the early 2000s, I'll just do the work manually.

Our team is also continuing to refine the editor to offer more layout control while ensuring performance and SEO optimization. As for the point about code remaining after uninstalling, we’d like to clarify that when saving content through the app, the blog post content is directly written into Shopify’s system. This ensures that even if a merchant decides not to continue using the app, their static content remains intact. However, we understand that preferences may vary, so we’re actively working on adding content backup options to make it easier to revert changes if needed. Holy Cow, this App is a great value. Does exactly what I need it to: allows us to manage our blog posts with consistent formatting in a user friendly way without any hassle whatsoever. And support is fast and helpful. I will be using this across my other sites now as well.

The SEO Blog is a real game changer. I helps you get your blog posts SEO compliant. It is a great tool for getting your pages laid out and found on major search engines. I needed help fixing the H1 tag and Nim was awesome to work with and got my issues fixed right away.

So good that it left me wondering what the catch is. As well as helping out with SEO, it has lots of features to help customise your blog with ads, product carousels and other visual elements. The customer service rep - Mia - was very helpful. Everything on the Shopify app store is so expensive, it's amazing that this is available for free.

We are moving away from our current Blog Post builder and after testing a few, I think we're staying with SEO On. It's easy to use, has a lot of nice features and fast and great support! Lang from Avada has been immensly helpful.
