To even get a single impression flowing, they dishonestly extort an outrageous one-third of your total retail value just to participate in their ecosystem. Once you surrender your margins, you are left completely at their mercy because their blacklisted dashboard offers zero transparency—deliberately hiding metrics on impressions and clicks so they can manipulate your traffic in the shadows. They hold absolute, practically criminal discretion over your livelihood, turning your sales on or off at a whim while running a backhanded scheme that pushes direct competitors right onto your own product listings. The nightmare only worsens with their imbecilic, rigged handling of chargebacks, which operates on the verge of outright theft. Because the bank exclusively represents the customer making the claim, merchants stand a zero percent chance of winning from the start. Instead of letting you defend your livelihood, Shopify puts up a flimsy, automated, completely lame defense on your behalf. They maliciously refuse to provide a single text box or tool for you to type a response, submit proof, or explain what actually happened, leaving honest business owners totally voiceless while their hard-earned money is stolen. To cap off this toxic, deceptive ecosystem, the financial penalties are immediate and severe. Before any official decision is even reached by the bank, you are instantly hit with an additional administrative fee on top of losing the entire sale amount. Shopify operates extensively in the dark to pocket your revenue through hidden channels while denying you the basic analytical and dispute tools required for legal and financial accountability. This is a deeply corrupt, non-transparent operation, and every business on Trustpilot and BirdEye needs to be warned about these deceptive and fraudulent practices.

A Hi Everyone The Shop/ shopify app was easy to set up, and my products connected successfully. My store is live with 13 products. I have not received any sales through Shop nothing yet, but I hope it will help more customers discover my store, the shopify and shop app constantly has never made me any sales at all 2 years now can only hope the AI constantly repeats itself , when you message support the AI says one thing the person says another I have been complaining about this but there is something wrong with this shop and shopify it’s a money pit how many apps do you have to get, then they send you to pay a for a person 100-300 per hour that they are part of the company .. ?? it’s a little fraudulent to be honest no intention to help.. there is a glitch in there systems

Terrible app. Shopify publishes my online listings to it regardless if I put it as a sales channel or not. This leads to loads of my event tickets being bought up by bots who want event prizing to be posted to them. We dont ship and why would we post event prizing to people who dont take part in the event... 0/10 app forcing use where no consent to list products on it was given. If it's not selected as a sales channel from a product IT SHOULDN'T BE AVAILABLE ON THE SALES CHANNEL. Theres no work around for this. Make the channel optional for products and dont show products not in this sales channel end of.

How many times do I need to eat the cost of an order because Shop Pay autofilled the wrong address. This is a terrible app and having it forcefed down the throats of Shopify users is infuriating. Fuck Shop, Shop Pay and Shopify.

I was charged & cheated because I didn’t want any campaigns but couldn’t turn it off. High bill of $152. Beware!!!

Shop is informing our customers of "estimated delivery dates" at checkout. In the needlework industry, there is currently an industry wide shortage of materials that has been in effect since November/December of 2025. We can not guarantee these delivery dates to our customers when item may need to be ordered from our vendors and they themselves are experiencing delays of 6 months or more to receive product. There is no option on the Shop app to turn this feature off to stop misinforming customer and we keep receiving calls and emails asking why they haven't received their orders when the delivery date said such & such. This is a horrible feature! Please fix this so we can disable it!

Due to the comment by your CEO I am considering removing my store from SHOP and only using my website on your platform. I want to support Canadian tech were I can.

"SHOP" stole all of my profit on the 5 sales that I was able to get through this app. I read that the cost was $15.00 per new customer, not $15.00 per item they purchased which took way over the amount of profit I would have made. Do not trust this app if you do not have more than $15.00 profit in each item purchased. #Disgraceful! #Terrible app!, #Rip Off

Do not trust this app, it took an automated payment from my very first sale of almost 50%, and i spent a few hours trying to resolve it !

I stopped my campaigns on June 15th, but I'm still getting charged. Your support told me that even when I turn a campaign off, I keep getting charged for the next 7 days or so, even though it's not running anymore. How does that work? If the ads aren't running, why am I still paying? With Meta or TikTok, when I turn my ads off, I'm not charged anymore. Why is it different here? On top of that, if I want to refund a customer, the sales tax that was collected doesn't get refunded to me either. This is an awful app, and the way the ads campaigns are billed makes no sense. Please fix your campaigns and the bill charges, and make it right.
