I was charged & cheated because I didn’t want any campaigns but couldn’t turn it off. High bill of $152. Beware!!!
Shop is informing our customers of "estimated delivery dates" at checkout. In the needlework industry, there is currently an industry wide shortage of materials that has been in effect since November/December of 2025. We can not guarantee these delivery dates to our customers when item may need to be ordered from our vendors and they themselves are experiencing delays of 6 months or more to receive product. There is no option on the Shop app to turn this feature off to stop misinforming customer and we keep receiving calls and emails asking why they haven't received their orders when the delivery date said such & such. This is a horrible feature! Please fix this so we can disable it!
Due to the comment by your CEO I am considering removing my store from SHOP and only using my website on your platform. I want to support Canadian tech were I can.
"SHOP" stole all of my profit on the 5 sales that I was able to get through this app. I read that the cost was $15.00 per new customer, not $15.00 per item they purchased which took way over the amount of profit I would have made. Do not trust this app if you do not have more than $15.00 profit in each item purchased. #Disgraceful! #Terrible app!, #Rip Off
Do not trust this app, it took an automated payment from my very first sale of almost 50%, and i spent a few hours trying to resolve it !
I stopped my campaigns on June 15th, but I'm still getting charged. Your support told me that even when I turn a campaign off, I keep getting charged for the next 7 days or so, even though it's not running anymore. How does that work? If the ads aren't running, why am I still paying? With Meta or TikTok, when I turn my ads off, I'm not charged anymore. Why is it different here? On top of that, if I want to refund a customer, the sales tax that was collected doesn't get refunded to me either. This is an awful app, and the way the ads campaigns are billed makes no sense. Please fix your campaigns and the bill charges, and make it right.
Can't run shop ads in Australia this should be fixed immediately

I am filing a complaint regarding…Shopify – Unresolved Fraudulent/Harassing Reviews I am filing a complaint regarding Shopify’s handling of repeated, allegedly fraudulent and harassing product reviews left on my store via the Shop channel. A single individual has left multiple reviews that I believe are abusive, retaliatory, and part of a broader pattern of harassment toward my business. I have also received separate direct emails from the same individual over an extended period of time. Due to this ongoing behavior, I have already blocked this customer from interacting with my store. On June 5, 2026, I reported the offending Shop reviews through the official reporting system under the “harassment/bullying” category as instructed by Shopify Support. More than five business days later, the reviews remain publicly visible, and I have not received any resolution, removal decision, or meaningful update. I contacted Shopify Support for assistance and was informed that: The moderation team is the only team that reviews Shop reviews There is no direct escalation channel, supervisor review process, or external contact for urgent or safety-related cases The moderation team may not receive additional context beyond the original report submission No case number, tracking system, or timeline is available for merchants This raises serious concerns about the effectiveness of the review moderation and escalation process, particularly in cases involving alleged harassment and potential abuse of the review system. My key concerns are: There is no meaningful escalation path for urgent cases involving harassment or repeated abuse. There is no transparency or tracking system for submitted review reports. Merchants are unable to confirm whether safety-related context is being properly considered. Support is unable to provide timelines, accountability, or interim protective measures while reviews remain live. As a result, harmful content remains publicly visible on my storefront with no clear mechanism for timely resolution or escalation. Requested Resolution I am requesting the following: Immediate re-review of the reported Shop reviews by an appropriate trust & safety escalation team Removal of reviews that violate Shop’s policies on harassment, abuse, or fraudulent content Confirmation that merchant-submitted harassment/safety context is fully considered in moderation decisions Implementation of a clear escalation path or case review process for merchants reporting abusive or harmful reviews If Shopify is unable to provide escalation or timely resolution for cases involving harassment or potential targeted abuse, I request written confirmation of this limitation.
Shop product eligibility and taxonomy handling needs urgent improvement for merchants selling paintball, airsoft, gel blaster, and foam-blaster-compatible sporting goods. Around the same period Shop moved further into AI/agentic shopping experiences, my store saw roughly a 30% sales drop, while many products were over-classified as prohibited or weapon-adjacent. The issue is not just individual product wording. Shopify’s standardized category system appears to route paintball, airsoft, and gel blaster products into Hunting & Shooting, then Shop eligibility may treat that category, product images, or trigger words as a weapon signal without enough store or product context. Some affected products are not firearms, firearm parts, ammunition, explosives, or combat equipment. They include sporting/recreational items such as paintball air tanks, hoses, regulators, BBs, batteries, paintball marker parts, airsoft internal repair parts, and even parts that can fit foam-launching products like Nerf-style blasters. It is unacceptable to implement this level of automated classification without a clear reclassification path, a dedicated product eligibility appeal process, or meaningful support access. The Get Support path routes back to general Shopify Support, and support appears unable to directly escalate or resolve Shop taxonomy/product eligibility issues beyond submitting feedback. Shop needs a real manual review process, clearer non-firearm categories for paintball/airsoft/gel blaster products, and a way for merchants to correct over-classified products without mislabeling their catalog or removing necessary brand and compatibility information customers rely on.
The ROAS is so absurdly small it's not worth it. I would LOSE money to advertise.

Even if you uninstall the app it will keep featuring your brand and products without having explicitly enabled it. Your store and data remains eligible for marketing campaigns regardless of whether the sales channel is installed in the admin. This is concerning as essentially you lose control of the brand and whole shopping experience offered to customers.
