Easy to set up and manage. The Shop channel helps drive some additional visibility, especially with mobile-first shoppers. However, it has strict product rules—toners and certain office supplies might get flagged. Be sure to double-check your product categories and appeal if needed.

Shop has made me a lot of money the last few years. I'm deducting a star because the Shop app ad campaigns are a rip off. With what Shopify charges for the order is based on subtotal + taxes + shipping, and it guarantees that Shopify will always make more money from the order than you do. It will also push the lowest order value, still charge you the full fee, and take most of your profit. By the end of the campaign, Shopify took 47% of my profit in ad conversion fees. Shop app is great for another source of sales, just highly recommend staying away from the ads.
