It takes the emails all day to send. Some will say send and then when i look at the engagement it’ll say 0 emails were sent. Messing up my promotions. It’s a great app but needs to be worked on

The biggest fail in Shopify's history? Well, Shopify you've been asking us merchants for months - "Are you ready for for BFCM?" Well, yes, I was - got all my extra stock in, extra employees for packing the orders next week - lovely. Then - Shopify Email decides not to work on Black Friday!!!!! Utterly shambolic. Yes, I was ready, but YOU weren't. This is inexcusable. Back to MailChimp for me now. You've literally cost me £1,000's in revenue. It is amateurish from you. Shame on you, Shopify.

My Gmail promo campaign is now going to spam or the “PROMOTIONS” tab in other Gmail accounts. It was working fine until 2024, but it seems Google has changed something related to domains and DMARC. Despite having a domain with Shopify, I couldn’t get the app to run properly like I used to years ago. In short, my campaign is not effective because customers are not receiving the Black Friday promo.

i cant save the campaign, i make a campaign, press review and nothing goes forward. only option is a back arrow that send me back to the beginning? I cant go back to the app to use support. Im stuck.

It marks my emails as failed if in the first "batch" sent doesn't reach a specific open rate. Then it doesn't continue to send the emails. This is stupid. Even if I get an order from the first batch with the low open rate they will mark it as failed, and not send the emails through. This needs to be changed. Send the emails regardless. No one instanly opens emails. That's why it's an email. This is ruining my business.

It is actually a quite good basic email sending service. BUT Sending email campaigns with always the same sender name in 2024 is crazy. This greatly reduces the open rate. They should definitely allow to edit senders name per each campaign (as every single email campaign sending service allow you to). I would modify the review accordingly. Until now - the service is just too basic.

I'm not sure why, but personalizations don't work for us. We have two storefronts and neither can get personalizations to work. We reached out to support over the past year and just get a link to an article, but no real support.

Les mails sont très simples à réaliser par contre ne pas pouvoir sélectionner directement les mail souhaités est très contraignant et donc inutilisable pour ma boutique . Les paramètres des segments ne sélectionnent pas parfaitement la cible souhaitée

This app is pretty much worthless. They promote it as an email marketing and automation tool. They even provide templates for abandoned carts and automated checkout emails. HOWEVER, the app will only send emails to people that have already opted in to receive emails. Totally useless. Save your time and frustration and go straight to using Klaviyo. Klaviyo will send automated emails to abandoned carts, etc. even when they have not opted in

It shows personalization as {last name} literally. What a ridiculous function

Everything was ok for a number of years, but Shopify has decided that we do not need to see open rates on any of the campaigns that have 100% delivery. I mean: every other email provider shows open rates, etc, but Shopify's programmers, decided they see things differently and removed these report stats.

App isn't great, I've tried everything to change the email customers can see when recieving emails for marketing but it still says @nyshopifystore even though I've editing forwarding emails to info@thebrandlayo. Can't seem to change this, it makes the emails I send to subscribers seem like spam and not professional at all.

Can't understand why all shopify app's are so bad. They should be the best. So guys, don't ruin your name. Do good or go home.

Completely unreliable. Sometimes it says send and no one ever receives that emails. On many occasions our emails went out several hours after the scheduled time. If you are looking for the minimum reliability of email newsletter getting delivered and getting delivered when it is scheduled DO NOT USE this app.
