This app is powerful and easy to set up. We had special requirements for our store and after a quick call, they quickly updated the app to accommodate our needs. The CEO is a great human and jumped right in to help us get the Donations widget functional on our store in record time. Highly recommend giving this app a try.

We've been utilizing ShoppingGives for a few years now, and have been happy with how easily it allows us to run giving campaigns. The integration is seamless, the backend is straightforward to use, and support has been lightning fast and helpful when we've had questions (The CEO even called me personally to help troubleshoot a time-sensitive sync issue on our end).

Loved this app. It worked so well for us until they started charging a monthly fee that is quite expensive for our small business. We loved that this app allowed us to donate a percentage of sales to local charities and would continue to stay but the fee is too expensive for us!

We have been using this app for the the past two months in our retail store and launched our online campaign this month. The Shopping Gives team is very responsive to any questions we have regarding installation and configuring the app as well working with to help set up the non-profits we want to support to ensure they are receiving their donations. Very supportive team and great to work with overall!

I had this app for a little bit before they started charging and don't get me wrong I think it's a great app but the reason I'm giving it 2 stars is that I HATE that they started charging out of nowhere. I'm still figuring out how to get sales in my store and I'm not gonna pay 29$ a month when I'm getting 1 sale a month. It makes no sense. What would make more sense is if they required me to pay after a bigger amount of sales or after making a certain amount of profit. Once I have a lot of sales I wouldn't mind paying at all. It's a great app but only worth it once you get sales and if I still had the donation part of it, I might get more sales. But I can't afford it until I get sales. See how difficult it is for us small business owners? So I'm gonna have to go with a different app, which stinks.

Shopping Gives is a great app. It makes it so easy to donate to the causes I want. It makes it easy for my customers to see where their donation is going and it's automated so I don't have to do extra work. I am so happy that I found this app and it's been so smooth to navigate. I love how I can use different products to donate to certain causes. If you want to use your brand to donate, I highly suggest using this app.

I love the ability to give back both financially and with my time, as now a mother of 4 I am unable to pay it forward with in person contributions. As the founder of bemybreastfriend, both social media and e-commerce, I am able to donate back to my favorite non profits. ShoppingGives has made this possible and the process is so easy. Having this platform implemented into my storefront has been one of my favorite additions to my store. Thank you ShoppingGives for allowing me to continue to giveback and making the process seamless.

I had just launched my small business, I have had Shopping Gives installed for many months. It was easy to install and looked and functioned great, after figuring out some glitches. I created social media, print & email campaigns around this app and the causes I was highlighting, and then out of nowhere the company take it from FREE to over $300 per year, plus a small percent of my sales. I get that to keep this app running smoothly a monthly fee might be incurred down the line but for very small businesses that want to launch with Giving at the center of their business and with very little volume this is incredibly expensive. I've had to delete all my campaigns along with the app because I just could not afford this being so new. I'm currently looking for something different that I can grow with. The app is great but do not recommend for small businesses.

Imagine charging subscriptions AND taking a fee to let businesses do good in the world. What a joke. Worked great before they started double dipping to buy themselves some shiny new toys. Since they replied saying they aren't double dipping.. here is a quote from THEIR site: $29 per month Start trial This includes: .5% (half percent) of order total Donation Transaction Fee per donation So they aren't taking from the donations, which is nice. But they are charging monthly, and taking a .5% of EVERY ORDER TOTAL. Greedy are we?

This isn't just an app - this is a TEAM and a PLATFORM. From the start, we've been pleased with not just the service, but the knowledge and capability of each individual on the SG Team. I recently tried out the "Shopping Gives" app and unfortunately, I have to give it a 3-star rating. Initially, I was excited about the concept of the app - taking a portion of each sale and donating it to non-profits. It seemed like a great way to give back without any extra cost to me or my customers. However, I recently received an email from the app stating that they will now be charging $29 a month regardless of order volume or donations made. What's most frustrating is that there was no warning about this cost when I first downloaded the app. If I had known that they would start charging a monthly fee, I would have never bothered with this app in the first place. And to make matters worse, I don't even understand what the $29 is going towards, since my customers are already having their donations donated. Overall, I'm very disappointed with this app and will be uninstalling it immediately. I'll be on the lookout for other apps that allow me to donate to non-profits without any hidden costs or fees.

Great idea but it doesn't work. After installing and getting everything to work, a month later nothing is working. Dashboard, web app, POS app, all not working. No support response either. I wasn't crazy about the functionality either. I expected the app to round up to the nearest whole dollar automatically. With this app, it defaults to $1. To change the amount you have to edit it in 1 cent increments. Not ideal when you are at a farmer's maerket with a line of peopl.

Great support, easy to use. Always quite responsive during the setup process. It is best if you are on Shopify Plus for the checkout integrations (round up), but still a great app

I use this app to manage my donations and anytime I've had an issue (mainly user error) the customer support has been **outstanding**. I highly recommend this app to use for the charities that are important to you.
