The Skio team have been great working with us to provide a customised solution to our subscription needs, which has led to remarkable uptake in just a few weeks. Passwordless login is seamless and the customer portal is intuitive for customers to use. Thoroughly recommended!

We made the switch from the Bold Subscription App and it was very simple to get used to. The range of actions is very easy to understand for both the customer and the company when making changes to subscription information. They did not have all the features we were used to right away. However, we definitely asked, and they definitely delivered. Responsive support and seamless customer/subscription interaction have made my job easier.

Skio app is very easy to use compared to other subscription-based platforms, especially for editing/modification; everything is made simple as the necessary features are provided in separate buttons in each profile. Their customer service team is also very friendly and assists us right away whenever we need help.

We switched from Recharge to Skio 3 months ago and it's been one of the best decisions we've made that actually adds value to both our customers and our team. Building great subscription software is not easy and, even though Skio still has to figure a number of things out, the speed and care with which they approach development are remarkable. They are approachable and fix/help with matters really quickly.

So much better than Recharge... night and day. Easy to use dashboard, and we just need to go through Shopify for everything (not two apps, like Recharge)!

If you're reading this, that means you're probably on the fence between which is the best Shopify subscription app for you. Stop researching and install this app now! Having worked with almost every subscription app over the years we were a bit skeptical at first, and the initial cost was a bit more expensive than what we were currently using, ReCharge. Here are just a few reasons why Skio so much better than ReCharge: 1. Customer login is a breeze, and ACTUALLY works. When we were on ReCharge we would get daily support tickets from customers saying they couldn't login. This would then force us to walk them through an "account reset". Not only is it confusing for the customer, but frankly it made us look like we had no idea what we were doing as a company. This got so bad and frustrating for customers that we lost multiple members because they were consistently annoyed with not being able to login and just decided to cancel all together. 2. The user interface is so simple that you don't need to spend days developing training content and FAQs for your customers. Within HOURS of us rolling out Skio we received multiple emails from customers saying how they loved the new customer portal and how intuitive it is. I think anyone would agree that those are the customer inquiries you want to receive. 3. Their support team is on it. Yes, they are a smaller company, so hopefully this level of service maintains with growth, but so far it has been amazing. 4. The migration was painless and their team helped us through everything. Just a few exports from ReCharge and we were ready to go. The one downside that we've seen so far is they don't support gift cards that well. We're told this is a limit with the Shopify side so there's not much they can do at this point, which makes sense. We've implemented a work around for the time being, and hopefully future updates to the platform and Shopify in general will better support gift cards. At the end of the day, we are extremely happy with Skio and are excited to see what they do with the platform to continue expanding functionality and integrations. Keep it up Team Skio!

We switched from ReCharge this month and our subscription orders are already up +300% MoM. The best onboarding process and our customers are loving how easy it is to customize their subscriptions. Couldn't recommend more!

The BEST subscription app I've found by far. Feature Development > Insanely fast Support > Amazing Migration > Took care of everything for me Shopify Checkout > An absolute game changer Since moving to Skio, we took our subscriptions with flat/negative user growth for the last 2+ years and have been growing our MRR by around 10-20% per month. I think the real thing here is that you need to stop holding out for legacy providers to upgrade. They're working with "spaghetti code". Their changes are so slow and labor-intensive because they are built on a faulty code-base that their too entrenched in to move away from. Skios base is super lightweight and modular. Requests I've put in with them take weeks vs years if they ever even get around to it. Switching to Skio was probably our best business decision so far this year.

Recently made the swap from our previous subscription app and very glad we did. So far we've been nothing but impressed. The team at Skio is super fast and responsive. The admin and user account pages are leaps and bounds better than the competition. Skio looks like it will be a very positive change for our site.

We've been using Skio for close to a year now and have loved it ever since. Support has been amazing, updates have been amazing, and overall, the roadmap on features coming is amazing! I cannot recommend this app enough! Especially for anyone looking to make the jump from Recharge (or other), their team makes it so seamless to make the switch over. Highly recommend!

We migrated from Recharge to Skio this past quarter. Immediately solved many friction points our subscribers were having around access/logins, and modifying their subscription schedules, addresses, products...etc. We can also send upcoming order reminders with Klaviyo with the same easy-login journey which allows customers to maintain a consistent branded experience. Their customer support team AND engineering team are very responsive and super easy to work with! Not something you see with some other options out there.

Made the transition to Skio from ReCharge and have not regretted it. Their product is just so much cleaner, more user-friendly, and downright better. Also, their pace of feature development is astoundingly fast. And I get the impression this is just the beginning. The migration was admittedly a little bumpy based on a technical challenge, but the Skio team was super responsive and hands-on in addressing the issue and making it happen. Strongly recommend this app.

When we were using Recharge our customers had trouble logging in. Then once logged in would occasionally get 404 errors. They thought we were scamming them. In addition, ReCharge would accidentally drop billing info and then customers would try to login and couldn't and it was just an overall nightmare....thankfully my business partners discovered Skio and we switched over and all of these issues are a thing of the past. I can actually get back to growing my business versus playing ReCharge clean up.
