Collection & Product Sort SMRT
The reviews for this Shopify App are overwhelmingly positive, with users praising its ease of use and effectiveness in managing product sorting and inventory. Many users appreciate features like automatic hiding of sold-out products, precise segment building, and receiving notifications for low stock levels. The app is also commended for its ability to streamline processes, such as scheduling updates and sending inventory alerts to team members. Users find the dashboards and reports to be helpful in monitoring their online stores. However, some users wish for improvements such as more detailed instructions with pictures, additional file formats for exports, a proper calendar view for scheduling, and a preview feature before changes go live. Despite these minor drawbacks, the app is highly valued for its functionality and impact on driving traffic to promoted items.
This has cleaned up my workflow quite a bit. Building a template once and dropping it onto new collections saves me repeating myself constantly. I also like that empty products get tucked away automatically. Two things though, the mobile experience feels clunky and I wish there was an undo button when a sort goes wrong.
The performance tracking is what sold me. i can actually see which collections pull their weight, and export the numbers for our monthly review no more guessing about what to feature.
Okay so I switched over from doing all this manually in the admin panel and wow what a diference. The way you can build segments off so many diferent product details is the standout for me. I keep my hero products pinned up top for the homepage collection and the reports i pull each week actually help me see whats selling. My only ask would be a dark mode because im on this thing late at night a lot.
Set it up to reorganize by best sellers every night and honestly havent thought about it since. Does its job quietly in the background which is all i really ask for.
Im not very good with tech honestly but I managed to figure this out on my own which says a lot. Dragging products into the order i want feels natural. And I get a WhatsApp message the moment stock runs low which is handy. Would love if the instructions had a few more pictures.
