I worked with the Smartrr team from the very beginning while I was with a different start-up brand. I was excited to be able to work with the Smartrr team again after joining another start-up company. None of this is simple, but the Smartrr team was super helpful and attentive, and we've been seeing new roll-outs and developments happening with the Smartrr platform that we're excited about. As a small team, with limited resources, but with a significant portion of our business being subscriptions and just the overall importance of providing a great experience for our customers, we continue to look forward to working with the Smartrr team to implement and enhance what we already have. Thanks, Smartrr team!

3 reasons you're wasting money with another platform: 1) separate account logins means angry customers and lots of customer service time eaten up - Smartrr is the only one with a single login, GENIUS. 2) Loyalty program for subscribers is the most seamless execution - we haven't had a single question or issue from a customer in 6 months of using this feature. Subscriber LTV continues to grow because of this. 3) Overall UX of the design is actually intuitive and easy for people to use. We almost never get questions on how to update an active subscription because people can figure it out simply on their own. Not the case with other app/platforms out there. Any other platform you're using is not anywhere near as good as this...we've cycled through a couple of these and Smartrr is hands down the best!!!

Smartrr has been a great partner over the last 2+ years. Way better than ReCharge. Casey has been our point of contact and has always been super responsive and available. Highly recommend this app if you are looking for a feature rich Subscriptions app.

Highly recommend Smartrr! Great platform, and they're constantly launching enhancements to make it even better. Their client service is best-in-class - our account manager acts as a true strategic partner, and jumps to action whenever we have a question or issue. Very glad we picked Smartrr for subscriptions!

The core functionality works well, but very dissapointing experience with support. I've reached out over the last 3 months about broken Gorgias integration, which they advertise. All I get is the team is looking at it. Never any followup unless I email. It hasn't been resolved, and I've been dropped by support. If it works out of the box you're in luck. If you need any kind of support with something not working as advertised, you'll wish you went with another app. UPDATE: Lead developer reached out and was very helpful in providing great communication and helping resolve the issues we were having. Updating to 5 stars.

I first heard of Smartrr last year during several informative webinars and was intrigued by their subscriber account portal and seamless back-end management of the tool. I decided to investigate them since our online customers were having several problems using our subscription platform and we had multiple technical glitches. I’ll admit, I was hesitant because Smartrr was new. However, after moving our store from WordPress to Shopify, I was trying to build the best tech stack possible with apps we could rely on long term. I gained more appreciation for Smartrr after learning that they went through a rigorous process in order to be selected as a verified Shopify application. This gave me more confidence that their technology would work seamlessly with our Shopify store. Their entire team was phenomenal in terms of communication. They detailed the differences between their platform versus the one I was using. They weren’t pushy to try and sell their tool. Rather, they truly wanted to help me learn how their platform would address the concerns and issues I was having with the other subscription platform. In addition, with the number of features that came standard with Smartrr, and at a very cost-efficient price point, I just knew we had to give them a try. Since switching to the Smartrr app, we’ve been able to provide an optimal experience for our online customers. We’ve also eliminated the technical issues we were previously having due to the other subscription platform. The Smartrr team is also constantly looking for feedback so that they may continue to develop and provide even better service for us. Honestly, I don’t feel like Smartrr is just a subscription app – they’re our partners, and they’re striving for success along with us. If you’re thinking of adding subscription to your store, or you’re looking to switch – don’t hesitate to reach out to Smartrr.

We launched our subscription program with Smartrr and it quickly became 75% of our returning customer sales. They have a small but mighty team that continues launch new functionalities. The level of service and support from the Smartrr team was incredible and better than any other App partner we've worked with.

We've been using Smartrr for over a year now to run our coffee subscriptions. Fantastic app and superb customer support. The Smartrr portal is very easy to use and highly customizable. We particularly love the customer account page as this allows customers to easily manage their subscriptions.

I found Smarter to be an excellent addition to my business. We had been wanting to add a subscription service for a number of months and smarter made the process easy. Excellent customer service. Josh went above and beyond to assist with everything we needed. I would recommend Smarter to anyone who is considering adding a subscription service to their website. They offer a reliable and user-friendly solution, and their customer support is great.

Smartrr is miles better than every other subscription out there! An absolute essential for any brand that prioritizes CX. The team is incredible, and truly helps create everything you can dream of. Cannot recommend highly enough! :)

After years of working with hacks and alternate checkouts to integrate subscriptions with Shopify they finally enabled a true subscription API. However, they didn't build a customer UI or management portal for subscriptions. But Smartrr did and it's great. While I came into my last project at HappyRing.com with Smartrr already chosen I was very happy with the support and ease of use that Smartrr has provided. I wouldn't hesitate Our use case was non-standard (waitlist, digital subscriptions, etc) that required lots of automated pausing, un-pausing and other API driven updates. Every time I've had a question about the service or the API my requests have been handled EXTREMELY quickly and competently. I would absolutely recommend trying Smartrr if you're looking to get into recurring charges and/or subscription services.

Switching over to Smartrr was one of the best decisions to our subscription business we've made. More than anything else, their unmatched customer support creates an experience unseen with any other Shopify app we have used. The sheer amount of new features and updates released in the past year since using Smartrr has been incredible. Their deep support for variants unlocked many options for our customers not previously available. 100% recommend (especially those with extensive variants).

Smartrr is the best subscription app I've ever used. It's so intuitive to setup. The amount of flexibility I as a store owner have is pretty awesome. The customer portal is also super easy to navigate. Haven't heard any complaints from customers which is great. I'm a big fan of Smartrr and def recommend it.

The transition was so easy and painless. Had some issues setting up Smartrr using a headless site but we were able to figure it out eventually! The thematic logged in experience for our subscribers now is SO much better than we had before. We are also interested in playing around with some custom discounting based on order number. All in all excited to grow our subscription program with Smartrr.
